Zombies, vampires and prophets, oh my!

Several sci-fi-ish pilots have been picked up for last season, including my personal favorite so far:
“Babylon Fields,” a zombie-themed hour described by CBS (via Variety) as “sardonic, apocalyptic American comedy-drama where the dead are rising and as a result, lives are regained, families restored and old wounds reopened.”
Zombies! Comedy! Sure, it’s been done, with Shaun of the Dead, but that was a one-time, feature-length movie. A one-hour weekly dramedy?
The other pilot CBS picked up is “Twilight,” about a vampire private eye.
Hollywood Reporter says ABC picked up “Eli,” about a “brilliant attorney … who finds out he might be a prophet.”
According to SciFi Wire, the guy who created cult faves Dead Like Me and Wonderfalls will bring “Pushing Daisies” about a guy who can touch the dead and bring them back to life, “but then has to deal with the consequences.” That has some amusing potential, I think.
I’m willing to give any sci-fi series a try. I saw every episode last year of Threshold, Surface and Invasion.
