Prince Reigns

No surprise that Prince delivered on the halftime Super Bowl show. Unlike so many of today’s poseurs, he’s a real performer and musician.
The New York Times went ga-ga over his performance, musing that few would’ve thought back in 1987 that he and not Janet Jackson of wardrobe malfunction infamy would be the bigger mainstream performer.
Here’s another one: Who would’ve thought in 1987 that hotel room-trashing, Kate Moss-dating, Winona Ryder-loving Johnny Depp would wind up a bigger star than Tom Cruise?

Especially because that was the year Johnny Depp started his run on “21 Jump Street.”
That said, Johnny Depp’s awesome and has always been a better actor than Cruise.
