Fantastic episode. I think it'd be so strange, but would make sense if Jacob were Locke's great great great grandpappy. I don't think it's Locke in some sort of time warp where he's met himself.

Dr. Eyeliner either hasn't aged (like the young woman with the old woman's uterus in the x-rays that he showed Juliet when he was recruiting her), or Eyeliner could be the guy in the jungle's son. I'm leaning more toward the not aged direction, since it seems like Jacob looks like he could have been on the crew of the Black Rock.

So what was in those creepy jam jars on the shelf in Jacob's cabin?

A theory I heard that is interesting, though probably not plausible, but what if they need the fetuses of the mothers who don't make it to stay young? (Perhaps that's what's in Jacob's jars?) That'd be going pretty far into horror film territory, but who knows. I actually still think it's that the fetuses grow too rapidly for the mothers' bodies and that's what kills them. So perhaps there's a full school of kids on the island who have actually survived, since they were full-term in wacky island time, although their mothers didn't survive. Interesting, though, that the fetuses would grow more rapidly, while the adults seem to be suspended in time.

Can't imagine the Charlie episode this week is going to be as good as the past few, but we'll see. Who'da thought the Sun episode would have rocked the way it did?! I hope they don't kill him off though...

Oh, one more cool idea - What if Locke was shot in the spot where his kidney was removed when his dad conned him out of the organ donation? Would be pretty cool if he survived because of something that's tortured him - his father's con - all his life.

I'm with you Heather on Locke not being dead. He can't be. So therefore either the Island Magic will cure him or Rousseau will come to his rescue or "Eye-Shadow" Man will save him. I have to agree as well that I was not buying Jack's reason for not telling "his Friends" what was going on but I am sure looking forward to the "Throw Down".

The island will heal Locke, Jack and Sawyer will end up getting off the island and be married in San Francisco shortly after their rescue, and Kate will have tripplets and the father will be Hurley.

Oh, and the island is a gigantic warp in the space time continuum that lies at the bottom of the ocean. The way off the island is via submarine straight down through a wormhole which leads to the bottom of the ocean trench in the real world.

Yay!

Lost is back big time. I've been riveted by it since it returned this season. I know we've gotten very few answers and a lot more questions, but I can't get enough of it. As long as they don't knock off Sawyer. And John better not be dead....
