Finally! CBS admits it was at least partially to blame for Jericho’s ratings dropoff.
Check it out here. (Forgot to mention that this links to Mike Ausiello of TVGuide.com!)

I am so glad that they admitted it was mostly thier fault for that long break…It was the same thing when LOST took that huge break too.Now all that CBS and all the other networks need to realize is that Nielson is shpuld not be used to rate who is watching what. What in the world do thet expect when all the networks let you watch the epidodes on line. May they should Nielson that!!!!!
Ha,ha. Their mistake? Who would have thought that? Nice to see an admission. Really nice to hear about the engagement.
Hey, Stanley, can you make a ring out of salt?
Great report. Thank you.
We forgive you CBS…you have heard our voices and have responded. Just make up for it by giving us Season 3!
Well, as long as you learn from your mistakes, it’s ok!
But, CBS, Don’t you break our hearts again!
I agree that CBS can be forgiven, especially since they admit a mistake was made. Can’t wait for the new episodes to start, and really enjoying the re-runs this summer : )
I also agree with the above responses. I am thankful that CBS is returning Jericho to television in the fall and also surprised by the admition of Nina that Jericho’s downfall was partly their fault. My respect for Nina grows a little more every day. And to quote our dear friend PhillyPhan- “Don’t you break my heart again!”
I agree. I think Nina has actually been a class act and she seems to be a straight shooter. Anyone who can admit to a mistake publicly (and has already moved to correct said mistake) deserves forgiveness.
