KS didn't make any of these statements or claims. He owns this show and he's proud of it and he'll defend it to the end of it's run. It takes alot of courage to face your toughest critics with a smile, especially about a show that took one of the biggest nose dives in TV history last season. He's a class act. A side note -- after seven years on the same job, I'd wanna get out and do something different too. It's normal..I give him props for sticking to his contract and still be excited about it enough to do it at all! Ha. This Africa idea sounds like the writer's attempt to infuse a real life political cause into the show, something along the lines of "Blood Diamond" (which was an excellent flick).
