I didn't think too much of Park's character at the series' start, but the range she has shown in playing the same character in so many different ways has been amazing. She's Boomer, she's Athena, she's other versions of Sharon Valerii, sometimes all on the same episode. And you can tell almost right away who she is.

The episode where Boomer and Caprica Six first hook up on Caprica, Boomer still unable to accept she's a Cylon and living in her old human apartment, was one of the finest of the series.

I just thought I would follow up on the topic at hand.
Grace Park is the most interesting actor on BSG. She skillfully balances multiple characters and makes them believable and exciting. Few actors could deliver the emotional and trajic drama with the poise and skill Mrs Park commands. If one notices...most of the more interesting episodes of BSG are the ones that Grace Park plays a major role. I have said it before and will repeat it here...Grace Park is a gifted actress.

I think Grace Park's actually one of the weakest actors on the show, although I don't know whether that's limiting her storylines. I was rewatching earlier episodes like Epiphanies recently, and noticed this. I do think her acting has improved as the series has progressed, though.

My biggest hope is that the extremely talented Grace Park will do a series or movies after Battlestar. Luckily, she is already in a movie called "West 32nd" coming out next year (which I am eagerly awaiting). To me, Grace is what MADE BSG great. Battlestar was at its very best when Grace Park was in the storylines. It will always be a mystery to me that they (the writers) seemed to write her out of much of the storylines. All my best to this intelligent and exciting young actress.

I missed that somewhere along the way. Doesn't surprise me, as his character is the father of Jamie Sommers' boyfriend. I was thrilled to see him. He's a great actor.

As for Romo, Moore & Eick *are* working to try to get him to appear on an episode or two toward the end of Season 4. My fingers are crossed. Of course, that's also leading to rumors that Romo might be the fifth final Cylon.

Just in case you did not know. Mark Sheppard (Romo Lampkin) has been made a series regular on "Bionic Woman". He announced this on his myspace page on July 20th just a few days before he began work on the show. Seeing as Galactica and Bionic Woman film on the same lot I hope Mark will be able to have the time to appear as Romo in a few more episodes of BSG. MORE ROMO!!!
