‘24′ in crisis!

If our resident “24” expert, Amy Vernon, weren’t on vacation, I know she’d be all over the latest news from the apparently troubled offices of our favorite Kiefer-ific drama.
‘Cause apparently the show’s writers can’t figure out how the hell Jack Bauer can save the world one more time.
According to “the Hollywood Reporter,”:http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/news/e3id91feee4bbb8d44096fba916e08ec292 production has been postponed … AGAIN.
Most returning shows start shooting the upcoming season in late July-early August, which was what “24” was supposed to do, too.
But when the idea to set Season 7 in Africa fell through (I mean, what were they thinking? How on earth were they going to make Burbank look like the Serengeti?), production was pushed to the end of August.
Now, says the HR, the show’s scheduled to start shooting on Sept. 10. So far, no word yet on storylines, except that Cherry Jones is going to play the U.S. president.
Sheesh, was the criticism of last season so bad it permanently paralyzed the entire writing staff?
Come on, folks: To paraphrase Mr. Bauer, you’re running out of time!!!

Hi Heather!
Thanks for the (bad) news! I’m sure this will put Amy into all sorts of fits when she reads this. I, myself, am quite concerned.
