24 gets its First Husband

Geez. I can’t keep up with the “24” casting news, all of a sudden.
According to TVGuide.com, Colm Feore will be First Husband to President Allison Taylor (known in “real” life as Cherry Jones).
Feore’s been in lots of stuff, but most memorable  to me, at least  he was Lord Marshal in The Chronicles of Riddick. (Back in 1988, he was in the flick Iron Eagle II.) He also was recently in HBO’s Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, portraying General Sherman. Oh, and he also played the Colonial president killed in the Cylon attack and who President Roslin replaced, in one episode of Battlestar Galactica.
TVGuide says the buzz is that “the First Gentleman will struggle to manage First Offspring problems.”
NOTE: It has been brought to my attention that Feore also was the most excellent villain in Stephen King’s Storm of the Century miniseries a few years back.
