The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences have as good a lineup presenting statues Sept. 16 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles as they could find to receive them. Here’s the accurate, officially announced list for the 59th Annual Prime Time Emmy Awards:
Alec Baldwin, Steve Carell, Kyle Chandler, Stephen Colbert, Marcia Cross, Jon Cryer, Ellen DeGeneres, the cast of Entourage, America Ferrara, Tina Fey, Joely Fisher, Brad Garrett, Kelsey Grammer, Patricia Heaton, Katherine Heigl, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Julia-Louis Dreyfus, Hayden Panettiere, Kyra Sedgwick, Jimmy Smits, Jon Stewart, Kiefer Sutherland and Kate Walsh.
A few thoughts:
- That’s one Hero, one Housewife and one-third of Two and a Half Men.
- Is the cast of Entourage that big they can’t be listed separately?
- Even Stevphens could reunite!
- Two presenters used to Love Raymond.
- Jennifer Love Hewitt and Julia Louis-Dryfuss have enough names for three presenters.
- I want to buy Katherine Heigl a vowel.
- Tina Fey or Steve Carell alone would be worth the price of admission even if it wasn’t free.
