Jericho update

September
21

I saw this a couple days ago, lost the link and then couldn’t remember where I’d seen it. Anyway, sorry for the delay:

I previously blogged (read to the bottom) on the fact that actress Emily Rose, late of John from Cincinnati, was joining Jericho when it returns at midseason, whenever that might be.

The latest news, via The Hollywood Reporter, is that she will play “Trish Merrick, a smart and ambitious aid worker who arrives in Jericho to help with the reconstruction of the town, in five episodes.”

That would be nearly the entire second season, as it stands for now at seven episodes. Perhaps she’ll be a permanent cast member once it’s picked up for more?

Meanwhile, Rose also has an eight-episode story arc on Brothers & Sisters as well, playing a friend of Rebecca’s who has an affair with Thomas Walker.

Other news: Jericho Monster has an interview with Lisibee/Beth/Edna, one of our stalwart guest bloggers (here, here and here), as well as Auntvonna/Yvonne, another multiple guest blogger (here and here) for Remote. Plus, Jane at Jericho Monster will be taking part in Blogging for Hope (further details here). Check it out and give it a try yourself.

Thanks for the update, Amy. Many thanks for mentioning my interviews and Blogging for Hope. I hope all bloggers will join in this worthwhile cause to fight abuse.

I’d like to extend my appreciation as well. I think blogging for hope (and against abuse) will make Sept. 27 very significant. I’m glad Jane is joining hundreds of bloggers. Thank you.

    All my best,
    Rich

Amy, you crack me up. My interview at Jericho Monster considered news? I’m flattered! :D As usual, doing anything blog-related with Jane was a hoot.

Thank you also for continuing to keep us up-to-date with Jericho news. I’m so excited waiting for the new season, I can’t stand it! But reading your blogs helps, just a little bit. ;)

Maybe she will be a new person for Jake to flirt with, lol. He is so bad like that…. Seriously, it will be interesting to see the new season of Jericho and what this “new government” will bring to the story.

The “Blogging for Hope” is such a great idea!!! Thanks to all the bloggers who are participating!!!

Love Margie and Edna – their commentary to everyday life in Jericho is priceless.

  6. Yvonne (auntvonna)

HaHa, ditto what Beth said! I’m flattered to be considered Jericho news! As always, thanks for the Jericho updates, I love hearing anything and everything related to Jericho!

Also, I agree that “Blogging for Hope” is wonderful cause!
