According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC was at the top of the Nielsen ratings with … Dancing with the Stars??
Yep.
Here’s a look at last night’s premieres:
• Dancing snagged 21.2 million viewers
• CSI: Miami, 14.8 million
• Heroes had 14.1 million
• Two and a Half Men, 13.4 million
• Chuck, 9.3 million
• Big Bang Theory, 9.6 million
• The Bachelor, 9.6 million
• Journeyman, 9.5 million
• How I Met Your Mother, 8.3 million
Other ratings observations from HR:
• Prison Break declined some from last week, but also a whopping 21 percent in the coveted 18-49 demographic from last year.
• Journeyman failed to score as many viewers as last season’s premiere of the much-hyped Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and also declined by more than 1 million viewers between 10 and 10:30 p.m. If those numbers don’t improve, it could end up the first show on the chopping block.
• Heroes won the 9 p.m. hour overall, but still couldn’t snag more viewers than Dancing in the first half hour.
• CSI: Miami was way down over last year’s season premiere (17.6 million)
• K-Ville dropped 31 percent over its premiere, to 6.2 million

Can’t say I’m surprised that “K-Ville” lost a third of its viewers, due to the show’s overall lack of quality.
It’s great to see nbc (nothing but crap) already struggling, while Studio 60 is getting raves internationally now. They base their entire schedule around Heroes and it doesn’t win it’s time slot and is down 9%. Already read one article which suggests Journeyman is first up on the chopping block dependant on next week!
