Premiere Tuesday

Here’s a fast look, via The Hollywood Reporter:
ABC won Tuesday, followed closely by Fox, though in the coveted “demo” of adults 18-49, Fox took the win. Here’s how the shows that premiered last night fared:
• House, 18.1 million viewers
• NCIS, 13.7 million
• Law & Order: SVU, 12.1 million
• Cane, 11.1 million
• The Unit, 10.7 million
• Boston Legal, 10.3 million
• Reaper, 3.2 million
• Beauty and the Geek, 3 million
Other tidbits:
• Boston Legal was down 26% in “the demo” from last year’s premiere (which was one hour as opposed to last night’s 90 minutes.
• Cane had the best premiere in its time period since Judging Amy nine years ago.
• House had the highest-rated premiere in “the demo” so far this season, for any network. And it was the show’s own best ratings ever without having American Idol as a lead-in.

I’m THRILLED to have HOUSE back!!
WE LOVE YOU HUGH!!!
Who would have thought our Bumbling Bertie Wooster ( I’m British )would achieve the giddy heights of World famousness, if there is such a word.
Knowing his work in ABOFAL and Blackadder and various film roles i am so glad i ‘followed’ him so to speak to the US.
I have watched House from the onset and am in awe of the talent still flowing from this mans body, be it expression, musical or acting. Well done Hugh Laurie you deserve your 18.1 million viewers and thats just the US, of course he is “world famous now” part of a quote from Season 3,
i wonder just how many worldwide ?
House is my favourite Drama, but only repeats of the last three seasons until TPTB allow Five TV to air Season Four.
