“Illusionist” Criss Angel and “mentalist” Uri Geller bring Phenomenon to NBC on Oct. 24.

It’ll be on for five weeks (including a two-hour special at 8 p.m. Oct. 31) on Wednesdays and they’re searching “for the next great mentalist,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Viewers will choose the winner, who’ll take home $250,000.
By the by, if you wonder why I put illusionist and mentalist in quotation marks, it’s because, what the heck does that mean, anyhow. Whatever.
