Her embarrassed of Cavemen

Just one thing: I am issuing a most heartfelt apology to anyone who heard me say Cavemen was not that bad. I had seen the original pilot, which I thought showed some potential.
Nothing brilliant or hilarious, mind you, but some comedic potential.
Last night’s remade pilot?
OMG. Anyone know where I can get a half hour of my life back? This was worse that Dirt. Way worse.
Like, horribly, horribly, horribly worse.
That’s it. Return to what you were doing.

If you figure out who to petition to get that half-hour back, would you let me know? My gosh, that was spectacularly awful! My mother, who is a big fan of the commercials, has been anticipating this premiere for months. Poor thing, even SHE thought it stunk. This does not bode well for the Cavemen.
We were both a little surprised too, as the show seemed just a tad suggestive for airing at 8PM. Maybe they thought that if they sexed it up, no one would notice the lack of comedy.
Beth, I promise you’ll be the first to know when I figure that out.
I’m so glad I passed on this one! The Geico commercials are hilarious, but I had a feeling they wouldn’t be able to capture that in a sitcom. Plus, I just knew it wouldn’t be as good as “Bones”. Sorry you lost a half hour of your lives Beth and Amy
