Outstanding program! The best thing I've seen on network TV in a very, very long time. Intelligent and adult without being so risque or violent that children can't watch. A great cast, and an engaging story line that twists and turns unpredictably. This show MUST succeed if for no other reason than to show that the public does not demand the least common denominator--that if you give them something smart and original, they will watch. Here's to hoping!

I loved it! It was quick-witted and interesting. It was such a blast of refreshing air...so new.

And I loved when they held their own hands and pretended they were holding each others'...and the monkey kisses.
I laughed sooo hard when Emerson hugged Chuck for Ned.

I was COMPLETELY impressed with "Pushing Daisies." I remember seeing the previews earlier this year and wanting to watch the show SO badly... but still, the show left me with a greater love for it than I ever imagined possible. A+ for being different, quirky, whimsical without taking it all to the point where it becomes a show that could never work. I'm extremely interested in seeing where the aunts go, how Ned and Chuck will continue to go about their non-contact relationship, and how Ned will continue his business. (Not so much The Pie Hole as the collecting rewards part)... I can say without doubt this is my favorite new show of the season, and I hope to see MANY more seasons of it. :D

I enjoyed watching the whole thing, from beginning to end. It's very quirky and whimsical, but that's its hook. That's also enough to keep me watching, even if I didn't absolutely love all the characters (which I do). It was like a grown-up fairy tale, and so visually stunning. I really hope they can keep up the balance between weird and fun, I'm looking forward to watching a whole season of this show. Thanks for the review, Heather!

I just watched the premiere of 'Pushing Daisies' last night and I can't wait for the next episode. I was amazed to have found this little gem in the sea of CSI's and Hospital dramas. 'Pushing Daisies' is unlike any other show out there. It is brilliantly written and the characters are extremely endearing. After shows like 'Friends' and 'Will and Grace' ended I thought my heart would never be whole again but now I feel like there's hope again.

I was pleasantly surprised by this show! Extremely unique, certainly a welcome change from the "same old, same old", I agree. Yep, I definitely have my fingers crossed for a Darling Mermaid Darlings reunion also!
