Squashing a BSG rumor

Those of you who regularly read Remote Access know I tend not to post much of the spoiler variety.
I’ve read tons of spoiler-y content about Battlestar Galactica and, last season, about 24, that I didn’t blog on, because there are tons of spoiler sites out there and I don’t really feel that’s our mission here.
Last week, for some reason, I posted on a pretty big rumored spoiler for Season 4 of Battlestar Galactica, and then FORGOT TO MARK IT WITH A SPOILER ALERT!
Um, doy (as I would have said in the third grade)!
Anyhow, a couple of fans blasted me  so  for that and I’ve corrected it on that post. But I’m very happy to say that Ronald Moore’s wife (this is kinda weird) has checked with her husband and reported back that it’s just not true.
So, if you haven’t read the previous post, and still don’t want to know what the rumor was, don’t read anymore of this post. In other words, ALERT: UNSPOILERING AHEAD!
Anyhow, according to SyFy Portal, it does not appear that President Laura Roslin will be leaving the show as early as mid-season.
Terry Moore’s words (she apparently is a regular poster on the SciFi Channel message boards):
I just told Ron what this spoiler was, and he said the Laura spoiler is ‘not true.’ He also said that he hasn’t even told the studio what the end of the show is.
Apparently McDonnell is reported to have told some of her daughter’s college friends that she had only three episodes left to shoot. Given where the show was, production-wise, the Portal put her departure at shortly after mid-season  though rightfully reminding everyone that this was just a rumor and should be treated as such.
