Jericho on Sundays?

E!Online’s Watch with Kristin buried the lede with some potentially good news today on her blog: CBS is looking at the 8 p.m. Sunday timeslot for Jericho.
“That would put it opposite football, Fox’s cartoon lineup and Extreme Makeover,” Kristin wrote.
The good news: That means Jericho wouldn’t end up facing the American Idol juggernaut. That returns midseason on Fox Wednesdays.

If Jericho returns in January … that would be great! Football will be out of the way after the new year, so no late starts (and thus, no TiVo chaos). With 60 Minutes as a lead-in, this will be good for the show.
If Jericho starts while football is still going on … not so good. In that case, I’d rather see it back in its old Wed. slot and get the 7 episodes in before Idol starts.
I disagree with you Amanda, I think this time slot is excellent, especially if they put it on after the Amazing Race ends(which will probably be the case). As Ravenwood said, football will be over by then and I don’t think the other channels are that big as competition (I for one am over Extreme Makeover. I like the stories, but Ty and the rest of the gang just get on my nerves!) I think Jericho would do really well in this spot!
I am also a fan of the idea of Jericho on Sundays. There will never be a ‘perfect’ slot for the show, but I think Sundays would treat it well.
