Lana Warms Up on "Smallville"

Lana’s coldness toward Clark, her true love, was finally adddressed during the most recent episode, when he told he he’d noticed she’s been somewhat distant lately. (”Distant” was an understatement.) Anyway, the jig was up when the Pouty One’s spying on Lex was uncovered by a snoopy Chloe. Did you ever notice that when Lana was at her secret company she always wore an outfit appropriate for a dominatrix? And we can rest assured that she really does despise the bald rich kid.
Was anyone else a bit icked out when Clark attributed the local earth trembles to his and a Krypto-powered Lana’s sex session? I could have lived without hearing that one. (And how were parents going to explain THAT one to their prepubescent kids who were watching.) So, based on what Chloe said after Clark’s explanation, he and a Lana are back to the doom of a non-intimate relationship, because Clark is afraid of what he might do to Lana during his, uh, “big moment.” I would think, however, that he could figure SOMETHING out—and you can use YOUR imagination on this one—that would ensure Lana’s safety!

On the November 15th episode, called “Blue,” Clark hears his mother Lara calling for help from Kara’s crystal and decides—despite Jor-El’s warnings—to release her. Lara gives Clark his biological father’s ring, which contains blue kryptonite (how many versions of that stuff can there BE?). When Clark puts it on, he realizes that Zor-El manipulated the whole shebang so the blue kryptonite would strip Clark of his powers (he and Lana can then resume their sex life!!) and enable his evil uncle to take control of the Fortress of Solitude.
