‘Jericho’ roundup

November
14

First off, the always colorful Margie & Edna will be online Sunday night for a live chat at Jeritopia.

I can only imagine the insanity, especially if they bring their pistol and sword. Here’s the official announcement, courtesy of Jericho Monster:

MARGIE & EDNA TELL ALL!!

Come join Jericho’s long-time residents in Jeritopia Nov. 18th at 10pm ET!

These two delightful ladies know everything there is to know about Jericho,

and they’re not afraid to let it all get told!

So, be in the Jericho Library and hear the latest about your favorites!

Secondly, Jericho Monster also discovered the Jennings & Rall website.

Who are Jennings & Rall, you may ask?

They are the company that basically is rebuilding the post-nuclear (or, as the site says, “post-2006) (Dis?)United States, hand-in-hand with the Cheyenne government.

jericho-122-flag.jpgFrom the site:

In these difficult times lay challenges for all North Americans seeking to safeguard the areas left destroyed and to rebuild our great Nation. Beginning with the Cheyenne Government, Jennings & Rall is leading the charge to resurrect this great country whose cities lay in waste, and whose populous yearn for a return to the America that we remember. We are here to help, build and lead – wherever that may take us.

What remains to be seen is what relation, J&R has to Ravenwood. Is it just the more public face of Ravenwood? There’s a link on the site to “Ravenwood Solutions” but once you click on it, you’re prompted for a username and password to see the info.

In checking out its holdings, J&R has substantial interest in or is about to purchase companies in China and North Korea. It has offices in Cheyenne (at least one of the existing governments is based there, as we know, but that address is restricted due to “Temporary Martial Law,” the site says. It also has offices in Austin, Texas; Sacramento, Calif.; Honolulu, Anchorage, Dubai and Shenzen/Shanghai. Its shipbuilding headquarters are in Gothenburg, Sweden.

A quick look through the site also turns up the following info:
• 23 cities in all were destroyed in the attack. J&R has three contracts to “contain city fallout.”
• J&R took “control of existing planes from defunct companies rendered inert by the destructive attacks.” Even though most of its own fleet was destroyed. Air traffic hubs are in Vancouver and Winnipeg, Canada.
• J&R has deed and property tax databases that hold information on all “existing and surviving public records.” So the question is, who says other records have been destroyed and if the records are missing, who has the say? Oh, and you have to contact the Cheyenne office for help with these databases. But the Cheyenne office’s address and phone information are top-secret (see above)
