ABC claims it ordered the pilot for Supermanny before the writer’s strike.
OK, sure. I totally believe that (not!).
Either way, the network has indeed ordered the spinoff of its show, Supernanny, which is not a hit, but gets pretty solid ratings.
The project puts a gender twist on the familiar “Supernanny” format. This time, a male child-care worker will take a tough-love approach to fixing chaotic households.
Just the latest in the long line of reality we’ll be looking forward to, should this writer’s strike continue into the new year. Which it’s expected to.
Sigh.
