Can’t watch 24? Then play it!

That’s right, the official 24 Trading Card Game has come out.
The Boston Herald reports on the “collectible” game, just in time for holiday shopping (hey, Hanukkah’s really early this year!).
It seems like Magic: The Gathering for 24philes. You build decks, choosing a side: Law or Terror. You can’t have any Terror cards in your deck if you choose Law, and visa versa.
You get a directive card for each deck so you know what mission you’re sending your characters on. They use equipment and agenda cards and event cards to surprise opponents. You score 24 points, you win the game. You score points by succeeding on missions.
Look, it’s really complicated, and far more than my poor little brain can handle. Don’t mind playing dungeons and dragons type games on the computer, where it does all the hard work for you, but you couldn’t get me to play any of these card- or dice-based game. They give me a headache.
If you want more specifics, check out the game’s website. The “Day 0 Tactical Pack” cards come 26 to the pack (a directive, a 24-card deck and a “foil elite card”; characters are Jack, Chloe, David Palmer, Logan, Phillip Bauer and Nina Myers) and the MSRP is $7.99. The First Edition cards come 12 to the pack and cost $3.99.
Love this editorial comment, by the way, from the Herald:
Jack’s ditzy daughter, Kim, even shows up here  and she’s more useful in this game than she ever has been in the series!
