What we can expect in Jericho’s season 2

Sheriff Jake Green.
Kind of has a nice ring to it, hmm?
CBS’ official description of Season 2’s Episode 1, “Reconstruction”:
Colonel Hoffman (Esai Morales) tells Jake (Skeet Ulrich) that the town will look to him for leadership and offers him the position of sheriff.
I’m thinking that Jack Jake (oops! had Lost on my mind!) accepts, especially as it’ll keep him in the loop on all things official and can help keep Hawkins (Lennie James, one of my favorite actors, since he appeared out of nowhere in the Jericho pilot) safe.

I cant see Jake accepting, what would Gray do? We need Gray and Beck/Hoffman? there, for Jake to ‘conflict’ with. Cant wait for Season 2, How many days to go?
That’s an interesting idea, Jake as sheriff. Since Johnston’s death, it was inevitable that Jake would take a position of authority, and the mayor’s job is already taken by Gray. Plus, Jake’s more of the gun-totin’ sheriff type, anyway. With any luck, that will give him more screen time with Jimmy, too. Love me some Jimmy!
Who’s Jack?
