He’s a Ford Mustang (instead of a Pontiac Trans Am) and voiced by funnyman Will Arnett (Arrested Development and 30 Rock).

The new KITT is lamer (a new-model Mustang?) and cooler (Will Arnett!) at the same time.
I dunno. I think having a new, different car makes sense. What are they gonna do? Get a ‘69 Dodge Dart convertible instead? The Trans Am was totally hip and hot and happening when the original came out, but it’s kind of cliche now. And I’m sure I’ll be blasted by Trans Am aficionados everywhere for saying so. But yes, Will Arnett is trés cool….
