ABC’s midseason schedule

December
17

Well, I kept checking the ABC media site on Friday, hoping the midseason schedule would be released. I left the office at 7 p.m. or so, and still no dice. So I dispute ABC’s contention that this was released on Friday. :-)

(Don’t even ask about the weekend, unless you have two toddlers at home!)

Anyhow, without further ado or muss and fuss, here’s what we’re looking at: Lost on Thursdays, against CSI! And:

Mondays in January:
8 p.m.: Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann
9:30 p.m.: Notes from the Underbelly
10 p.m.: October Road

Mondays in February:
8 p.m.: Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann
9 p.m.: Samantha Who?
9:30 p.m.: Notes from the Underbelly
10 p.m.: October Road

Mondays in March:
8 p.m.: Dancing with the Stars
9:30 p.m.: Samantha Who?
10 p.m.: The Bachelor

Tuesdays in February:
8 p.m.: Just for Laughs
8:30 p.m.: Just for Laughs
9 p.m.: According to Jim
9:30 p.m.: Carpoolers
10 p.m.: Boston Legal

Tuesdays in March:
8 p.m.: Just for Laughs
8:30 p.m.: Just for Laughs
9 p.m.: Dancing with the Stars the Results Show
10 p.m.: Boston Legal

Wednesdays:
8 p.m.: Wife Swap
9 p.m.: Supernanny
10 p.m.: Cashmere Mafia (until Men in Trees returns Feb. 27)

Thursdays in January:
8 p.m.: Ugly Betty
9 p.m.: Grey’s Anatomy
10 p.m.: Big Shots (after special premiere of Cashmere Mafia on Jan 3)

Thursdays in February:
8 p.m.: Ugly Betty
9 p.m.: Lost (premieres Jan. 31)
10 p.m.: Eli Stone (premieres Jan. 31)

Fridays:
8 p.m.: Drama encores
9 p.m.: Drama encores
10 p.m.: 20/20

Sundays, in March:
7 p.m.: America’s Funniest Home Videos
8 p.m.: Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
9 p.m.: Oprah’s Big Give
10 p.m.: Desperate Housewives

In case you’re counting:
• That’s four new series: Cashmere Mafia, Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann, Eli Stone and Oprah’s Big Give
• Five returning shows: Lost, According to Jim, Just for Laughs, Supernanny and Wife Swap.
• Two shows that had their seasons in the fall, but are reality television and so have brand-new, strike-proof seasons for the winter/spring: Dancing with the Stars and The Bachelor

Why no Saturdays or Sundays listed before March? No changes from the current lineups.

Enjoy!
