Nuts for Jericho

Anyone involved with the campaign to bring back Jericho last spring knows the name Jeff Braverman, of NutsOnline. He noticed a bunch of folks had started ordering peanuts and sending them to CBS. He basically made it possible for the fans to send more than 40,000 pounds of peanuts to the network by allowing people to pay whatever they could afford, then pooling all that money together daily into one giant order per day.
He wasn’t a fan of the show originally, but he’s totally become a fan since then. He has a Jericho blog on his company’s website, and the other day he had some news about Season 2, not least of which is that the nuts have a cameo in the first episode!
Here’s what he had to say:
When I met the writers, producers, and actors back in July, I was assured that the new episodes were going to be fantastic and even a notch above Season 1 episodes. Of course they’re biased, but they were pretty emphatic and I wanted to believe. Well, finally, a third party confirmation…I just spoke with a TV drama journalist and here’s a snippet of what she had to say, “I’ve now seen the first 3 episodes of the second season and all I can say is WOW!!!! My first thought was how pleased all the fans will be with these episodes. You all did not put forth those efforts in vain. They are above and beyond anything I could have hoped for – I think they may even be better than any season one episode! Oh – and the nuts got a cameo in the first episode! You guys will love it!”I’m excited! How about you?!!?
I, for one, am.

Jeff was such a great asset to us, and I am glad the Nuts got their much deserved cameo! Thanks Amy!
We love Jeff B, and all the fans who bought those nuts to fling at CBS! And now because of our efforts, we get to see what might be the best show on tv ever. AND nuts will even have an appearance, too cool!

Woohoo, I'm NUTS for Jeff, he rocks! It's so cool that he is one of the converted and he definitely stepped up to the plate on the public front during the campaign and after as well. He deserves KUDOS!
Can't wait to see the NUTS in the first episode. I'm so excited about Jericho Season 2.

LOL!! I had no idea this was going on. I love Jerichoand was very dissapointed when it was canceled.
