She’s all over the Remote Access comment boards weighing in on Kyle XY and other shows, but her heart belongs to Dunder-Mifflin—at least I like to think so.
Gretchen, a 20-year-old from Salt Lake City, goes by the pen name Post-it Thief at the NorthernAttack.com’s Watercooler, signaling an Office passion that’s downright old school given its origins way back in The Pilot episode.
Five months ago she weighed in on the upcoming fourth season and nailed it on a couple of points, like Karen…
She’ll move out of the state and move on emotionally, since I think deep down she knew this was coming. She can show up in the premiere episode, but even that’s overkill for me.
…and Jim and Pam…
Jim and Pam are boyfriend and girlfriend “with potential. Plus, they have finally found that perfect balance between pranking Dwight and making out.
Let’s see how she does when it comes to the strike-shaped hole in the middle of this season.
(Part 8 of many. I – II – III – IV – V – VI – VII)
10 words or less: Which side do you support in the writers strike and why?
Seriously, Brian? Do you even need to ask? (Ed. note: Well, yeah. Kind of.)
Presumably you’re watching less TV than usual lately. What are you doing instead?
College takes up most of my time. Oh, and I took up blogging! It’s a blast.
Office fans waited two and a half years to see Jim and Pam get together. Two months later, the writers strike threatens to wash the season away. What do you think about that?
Screw the AMPTP.
Maybe you don’t care about Jim and Pam anymore. If that’s true, what are you missing the most with the show on unscheduled hiatus?
Andy has really endeared himself to me. I heart Ed Helms!
Would you rather see the strike end now and have the writers get back to work and put The Office back on for however many episodes they can squeeze in, or would you rather they scrap the season and turn their attention to returning strong in the fall, using the extra time to restore their creative juices?
I think they’ve have plenty of time to stew on the picket lines, so I’ll take episodes now. Possible Spoiler… That Dinner Party idea has major potential. They better still make that episode.
Bonus round: Fill in the blanks
- This strike sucks. Jeff Zucker should be sentenced to a year of According to Jim/My Two Dads/Blossom reruns for making this happen.
- Stanley and Creed make such a great couple. They’re like the Brangelina of the northeast Pennsylvania paper distribution industry.
- I still can’t believe Michael followed his GPS into a lake. That’s the dumbest thing I’ve seen on TV since the Gay Witch Hunt kissfession re-filming and subsequent fall-out.
- _looked so much better this season, especially with her new _ and seeing her with _. I made up my own question #4. John Krasinski looks best: in a tuxedo. Or basketball gear. Or shirtless. Or all of the above. (Ed. Note: This is malfeasance for malfeasance’s sake. But I will allow it.)
- The strike has been particularly rough on my Office obsession. In fact, the strangest thing I’ve done since the hiatus began was wake up on a Thursday and have my first thought be non-Office related. Weird.
