All about Chloe

There may not be a lot of 24 news out there, but there was a lot of Mary Lynn Rajskub news out there today.
First off, she’s preggers. In real life.
People magazine reported the news yesterday that Rajskub, our dearest Russet Potato Face Chloe O’Brian, is expecting her first child with her live-in boyfriend, Matthew Rolph, 27. Robbin’ the cradle, Chloe (she’s 36). Nice. But what would Morris say? I think he’d be crushed.
Of course, this concerns me a bit, in terms of what’s gonna happen to Season 7 when and if the strike is ever settled. If it isn’t settled for quite some time, then they’re going to have to wait a bit longer to let Chloe work off the baby weight. I’m guessing that she was normal Chloe size in the first eight or so episodes that were filmed.
I’m sure Mary Lynn is quite thirlled (she told People she was, after all), but I’m concerned.
Meanwhile, in other Chloe-ness, Rajskub is supposed to make an appearance in the Red Dress Fashion Show to benefit The Heart Truth during Fashion Week tomorrow (Feb. 1) in Manhattan.
She also just last week debuted her new film, Sunshine Cleaning, at Sundance. She plays one of the first clients of the film’s namesake company, a crime scene cleaning company run by sisters played by Amy Adams and Emily Blunt.
In an interview with BuddyTV, she described the film and her role thusly:
There’s sort of humor throughout, even though it’s a dark subject matter and it’s emotional. … The biggest thing for me was playing a pretty straight character that’s not weird, or troubled. Or rude.
Plus —and I swear I don’t mean to sound bitch — but Mary Lynn, that’s just not a good look for you.
