Your daily Jericho fix (Friday)

Before I forget – check out the Jericho countdown clock to Season 2 in the right-hand sidebar. Go ahead and snag a copy for your own blog, or create a new one through Widgetbox.

Let’s get right to it, then.

Clare Carey - JerichoClare Carey, aka Mary Bailey, appears to be the Jericho woman of the moment.

She just recently did a live chat with Filmnut (Episode 215), has co-produced an independent film, Submission, and is directing a play, Princess Bean’s Messy World.

But even more impressive than her live Internet chat with Filmnut is this Jericho4Kids Interview with Clare Carey.

Yep, Clare’s the latest Jericho luminary to sit down and grant 10-year-old Shelby an interview.

What a special treat to get to talk to her about her life, career and Jericho! Clare is an awesome person and actress and it was fantabulous to talk with her.

Somehow, I suspect Clare feels similarly about getting the chance to talk to Shelby.

Elsewhere in Jericho-dom:
• The amazing Rubber Poultry posted this note on the Jericho message board. The producers gave him permission to create a promotional video using footage from the three episodes on the screeners the network sent out (OK, that last part I just deduced from having seen the three first amazing new episodes). But more importantly, RP did, as usual, an incredible job. CBS, give this man a freakin’ job already! I posted the link to this vid the other day, but just in case you didn’t see it, you’ve got to check it out.
• Speaking of videos, Maureen Ryan over at the Chicago Tribune posted a clip Season 2. It features Col. Hoffman (Esai Morales), a military man with the Allied States of America.
• The Tom Tooman ARG got some play over at BuddyTV.com. Truth be told, I never started on the Tooman game because otherwise it, like the Lost “Find Flight 815” game could have threatened to take over my life. BuddyTV sums it up thusly:

The Jericho ARG follows the story of Tom Tooman, a Native American man who, like the characters on the show, woke up one day in a changed America and decided to take action. CBS drops hints that Tom will be crossing paths with characters from the series, and mentions that he might even make an appearance himself in future episodes.
