What if?
That’s what I started thinking after I read this article about Jericho’s return to Canadian television.
The most fascinating tidbit in the article was this: Jericho will air immediately after (and on the same channel as) … wait for it … American Idol!
Hey — wasn’t AI part of the reason Jericho got canceled in the first place? When it returned from a lengthy hiatus, it was up against the juggernaut that is AI. Jericho, in the U.S., airs on CBS. American Idol airs on Fox.
Thanks to fewer channels in other nations and the quirks of distribution, the two shows now will air back-to-back on Canadian TV.
Just imagine if that had been the case here.
There would have been no thousands of tons of peanuts.
No Jeritopia. No RFJ. No Jericho Junction. No Jericho Monster. No Jericho 4 Kids?
Hard to think of that world.
Hey. Maybe it’s a good thing Jericho was canceled. I mean, it was brought back and all.
Hmm. Stay tuned to Remote Access for more thoughts on that.
