Now here’s a potential 24 hottie for all you guys out there:
Kate Beckinsale, the kicker of vampire and werewolf butts from the Underworld movies, is apparently “begging” 24’s producers for a role on the show, according to the Starpulse Entertainment blog.
I’m compulsively addicted to 24. I love that show. Just hearing the music of it makes me feel so confident … (Maybe) I can be the head of CTU.
Has anyone told the British looker that there is no more CTU? Maybe she can be the head of a NEW CTU. Ideas, anyone?

• Chloe, ahem, I mean Mary Lynn Rajskub is trying to sell her home in the Venice area, the San Francisco Chronicle recently reported. Better than it being Chloe’s old home, though, is the fact that she was leasing it to Mia Kirschner, who played the evil (but hot) lesbian gun for hire Mandy. It’s an 800-square-foot bungalow that she bought for $899,000 in 2005. Got $1.4 million lying around? That’s what she has it on the market for. Does Jack Kiefer know?
• James Morrison (Bill Buchanan, not the dead singer) gave this interview about Season 6 and his yoga. Love this quote:
A girl in my class – after class the other day, after we had our final resting pose – she came up and said, “You know, it was so weird during shivasina (a yoga pose), I thought I was in the CTU.” And I said, “How unfortunate for you, because it’s a really stressful place. I’m sorry I took you there.”
• NPR’s “In Character” series examined “Jack Bauer: Quiet, Ruthless Defender of America.”
In the television series 24, he’s quiet, focused and ruthless when it comes to defending his country from terrorist attacks. Millions of fans sit on the edges of their seats waiting to see how Jack Bauer will save the country once again. Maybe they’d like to think there’s a real Jack Bauer out there to protect us.
