I've never been big on books inspired by television shows or movies, but given that Johnson wrote it and came up with V the first time around, that probably makes a big difference. I've been meaning to get the original miniseries on DVD for a while now, but i might wait for blu-ray now. :-) or ask for it for Chrismukkah. I own all of the incarnations (however cheesy the progressivly got) on DVD. I read the novel a few weeks ago (had it on preorder for months) and it was great. I emailed Kenneth Johnson to tell him how much I enjoyed it and he wrote back- TWICE! He's a very gracious person. I so hope this movie makes it to TV or the theaters or somewhere. They've been talking about it for a few years now. Hopefully now that the novel is out, it will happen. I would love to see Kenneth back at the helm. -Rubberpoultry I was a total V geek as a kid.
