A long time—way too long—has passed since the Seattle Grace gang checked into our TV sets. In tonight’s installment, “Where the Wild Things Are,” it’s been six weeks since (the producers’ way of acknowleging the strike) Derek and Meredith ended (thank goodness) their dopey, whiney and dysfunctional relationship and Der starting dating nurse Rose (right).
Elsewhere, to keep themselves amused, Mer, Alex, Izzie and Cristina compete in a surgical contest, and Bailey serves as the judge. Meanwhile, interns George and Lexie, now sharing a crummy apartment, attempt to adjust to its squalidness. On the Callie front, she finds in friend in her roommate Cristina’s nemesis, Dr. Erica Hahn (who needs braces on her teeth).
