‘Lost’ season finale scoop: Sawyer spoiler!

So Lost-philes, have you noticed that we haven’t been seeing as much as we’d like of Sawyer this season?
Sure, we got to see him shirtless again. And he’s sweetly become a surrogate Charlie, the protector of Claire and Hurley.
But mostly, it seems like our favorite honey-dipped castaway has been running around and asking the same questions that we’d probably ask if we were on the island.
Which are basically variations of “Huh?” and “What the hell’s going on?”
Never fear. I hear that there’s big plans afoot for Sawyer before “Lost” concludes Season 4 on May 29.
(SUPER-DUPER SPOILER ALERT AHEAD!)
The show’s uber-producers told reporters earlier this month that the season finale will reveal what happens to Sawyer and why he isn’t part of the Oceanic 6.
And it all hinges on the Sawyer-Kate-Jack love triangle.

So it makes sense that E! Online’s TV diva, Kristin, is now reporting that there’s a super-secret Sawyer scene in the works for the finale. One that she believes is the expected “game-changer” that will end the show’s trademark flashbacks and flash-forwards.
And Kristin’s scoop connects the dots to Dark UFO’s tip that Josh Holloway was spotted at LAX earlier this month because he was in Los Angeles to film that very same secret scene.
And the scene isn’t a flashback.
So, does Sawyer make it off the island? If so, how does that happen if he’s not one of the Oceanic 6?
OR, are there now TWO Sawyers?
As Dark UFO notes, the producers have said openly that the as-yet-unseen Orchid station will figure prominently in the finale.
That’s the one with the orientation film featuring DHARMA doctor Edmund Halliwax (a.k.a. Marvin Candle, a.k.a. Mark Wickmund) freaking out about an apparently duplicated experimental rabbit. (Comic-Con attendees were given an advance viewing of the film at the last convention, and it’s expected to pop up somewhere in the season finale.)
Will Sawyer follow in Bunny #15’s time-travelling footsteps?
AND here’s another rumor, about that promised “big kiss” in the finale.
A contact tells Dark UFO that Sawyer makes up half of that boy-girl smooch.
And the other half is….
Sorry.
That’s just too spoilerific to reveal directly. (Yes, I’m a total spoiler chicken.)
But go here if you’re desperate to know who that lucky gal MIGHT be: Because don’t forget, this is just a rumor.

Oh man, Heather, what are you doing to me??? I just can’t resist the Sawyer spoilers, no matter how hard I try.

I used to say that I hated spoilers, and I still believe that watching episodes from a pure perspective makes for a better “Lost” experience. But somewhere along the twisty, turny “Lost” journey, I’ve become a spoiler addict!
And of course, I can’t keep this knowledge to myself—that wouldn’t be fair, now would it?
Heather, you hit the nail right on the head when you said Sawyer’s basically being the surrogate audience, asking “HUH?” and the like.

As a friend recently pointed out to me (thanks T!): why would they go all the way to LA to film an airport scene when they do such a good job making Hawaii look like every other place in the world when they need to?
I hadn’t heard about the commercial in Turkey, and I agree that it does seem odd that somewhere in Hawaii couldn’t stand in for L.A., as it has before.
Plus, I just found this Ain’t It Cool News interview with Michael Emerson, and it looks like hen’s involved in a secret scene, too! (Who knows whether it’s a Ben-Sawyer scene, or just one that’s Ben-centric.)

If the scene Emerson’s talking about does involve Josh Holloway, he says it’s won’t be shot until next week. So maybe Josh’s LAX visit was simply a layover…we’ll soon find out!
