Reaper: Coming to Grips

Sorry for the delay; I really meant to post on Tuesday night, but I had the house to myself for a change and I hardly knew what to do with myself. I actually was far less productive than I tend to be when the house is filled and I have all sorts of demands on me.
Yeah, whatever, Amy, just get to the good stuff, I can hear you saying.
So, since I’m so late, I’m going to just get straight to the point:
• The new revolution. Doomed! Um, exactly what did Sam think was going to happen when he promised the Devil he’d do him a favor? And it’s not like Satan didn’t tell him a zillion times in so many ways that the favor was going to be big, bad, uncomfortable and come at a really bad time. Sam, Sam, Sam, will you ever learn? Apparently not. And poor Tony. He did love Steve so, and his true immortal (um, I guess not completely) love is now gone.
• Cooking. I’m sorry, but there’s no scene in the history of mankind that tops a demon, in full demon-ness, helping you cook dinner because, well, he’s better at it. Sam, a talking zucchini? That’s the best you could come up with?
• I’m really glad that Andi saw how inept Sam, Sock and Ben are at capturing souls. It made her realize she could never be afraid of Sam and they can still be together! Yay! Gotta admit, that was pretty funny when she told Sam she wasn’t afraid OF him, but rather afraid FOR him.
• Ben! You got married?! Really? I know it was for the green card, but now you finally met your green-eyed, Sue Grafton-reading, mixed martial arts-loving dream girl (played, did you notice by Kandyse McClure, none other than Anastasia Dualla on Battlestar Galactica?) and you can’t go out with her! If there’s anyone on this entire show I feel sorry for, it’s Ben. He’s such a sweet soul and puts up with so much crap from Sam and Sock (who, in fairness, really do love the guy).
Meanwhile, while we wait for “Greg, Schmeg” on Tuesday (Andi’s ex-boyfriend, Greg, comes back and she can’t resist him and so breaks up with Sam to go out with him again; ps: Greg made a deal with the devil to get Andi back), here’s a little more Reaper goodness to tide you over.
Josie herself, Valarie Rae Miller, in her TVGuide.com reaper blog has a music video the cast and crew did, dancing and lip synching to Public Enemy’s “Can’t Trust It.”
It’s a hoot.
