Shades of "Grey's"

May

It was great to have Miranda Bailey back to her inimitable, no-nonsense self last night. Her sass is one reason we love her. It’s another reason we love Cristina, but that girl has turned into a major wimp, what with all her sucking up to Hahn. It’s painful to watch. Had Cristina been following the adage “Be true to thyself” instead of overtly idolizing Hahn, Hahn would have respected her and not treated her like peon in the first place.

greys-anatomy.jpgWhat was up with Rebecca? She schlepped to Seattle to tell Karev that she’s got his bun in the oven and it turned out she was lying (courtesy of the pregnancy test)? That’s the oldest trick in the book for trying to “nab” a guy (Either that or he’d run in the other direction.) So Karev was cold as ice at first and then warmed up later. That sort of underhandedness makes me now dislike Rebecca. Go back to your loyal hubby, honey, and leave Alex alone! Even if Rebecca had been telling the truth about her pregnancy, he’d still break her heart in the end.

Have you seen the current “TV Guide” about the sexiest people on TV? Patrick Dempsey is on the cover, and Justin Chambers has a 2-page spread on the inside. Jeez, the guy’s got a ton of tattoos—almost as many as Keifer Sutherland.

So, Addison, babe, you think things at Seattle Grace are just as dysfunctional now as they were when you left? I haven’t tuned into “Private Practice” much, but SG sometimes seems like the model of normalcy compared to her L.A. workplace. But it was nice to have her back on “Grey’s” and also nice to have her return to Tinsel Town.

What a bummer that Philip Robinson died after the experimental treatment on his brain tumor. But thank God McDreamy had the common sense to advise him to make his last words to his wife, Jennifer, kind ones.

How funny was that scene with McDreamy, McSteamy, Mer, Addison and Nurse Rose all in the same elevator? The look on everyone’s face was a classic “Grey’s” moment.

My least fave moment? When Callie, worrying that people thought that she and Hahn might be a romantic item, announced her love of a man’s, uh, manhood. That was, in my mind, too mature for the adolescents in the viewing audience to hear. I can just imagine: 7th, 8th and 9th graders going back to school today and quoting her—loudly!
