I still can’t believe what losers Toby and Ryan are, but I won’t harp on it in this Office update

This mini Office season is careering toward a conclusion.
There are only two episodes remaining before yet another long hiatus. If it makes you feel better, the summer layoff won’t last as long as the writers strike.
Just to put a cap on “Did I Stutter”, here’s a smattering of Office-y content from around the Interwebs.
First off, there was a big horse race over the weekend. I’m not sure why, but I hear they do it every year and drink something called mint juleps. Sounds like something Angela Martin would love. Except for the alcohol. And the gambling.
Anyway, the cast was there at Churchill Downs, and you didn’t have to sit through the broadcast to enjoy this. (Can you tell what I think of horse racing yet?)

Did you catch a glimpse of Dwight’s organizational chart? Well if you want more than a glimpse, and you really want to zoom in on inanity that is Schrute-ian hierarchy, check out this link. Someone went to an awful lot of trouble to fill in lots of details you didn’t see on air.

By the way, I hung out for a little while Friday afternoon with Cool Guy Paul Faust of Disaster Kits Ltd. of Pleasantville, N.Y., who made his prime time acting debut two weeks ago as himself in “Chairmodel.”
I was pretty pumped up when a good friend who’s aware of my obsessive Office bloggery called and told me Cool Paul, err Faust, works a few miles down the road from my office. Faust immediately agreed to an interview and was as cool as his name implies about meeting up with me for a few photos. (I’m the cool guy on the right.) Memo to Greg Daniels: I am now solidly in the Bring Back Paul Faust camp. Read my interview with Cool Guy Paul.
If you want to test your Office smarts, check out this video-fueled trivia game that challenges you to watch short clips from past seasons and fill in the next line. I totally rocked it, which just proves it’s not that hard. But it was fun to play just for the chance to rewatch some classic scenes.
Here’s a blurb about Kate Flannery at People’s site. The headline says she dishes about The Office, but it’s more like she gushes. That’s cool too, though.
BJ Novak shows up in this podcast, with an interview around the 34-minute mark, according to OfficeTally. (I haven’t listened yet, but it’s on my iPod for the evening commute.)
By the way, the second deleted scene went up over the weekend, and it is one that never should have been left on the cutting room floor.
Oh, and Steve Carell interviewed Phyllis Smith for E! I don’t know why, but it’s pretty funny.
Still, is that Ryan a loser or what? Toby too.
