Congratulations to Jericho for the visual effects nomination! At the same time, a big Jeer to the Emmy voters for failing to recognize Brad Beyer's incredible supporting performance as Stanley Richmond. As Stanley signed his goodbyes to murdered kid sister Bonnie (who was deaf), he brought viewers to tears with barely a whisper. Kudos to Brad Beyer, and to all Jericho writers, actors, and producers.

Crazy! For "The Wire" to get overlooked AGAIN is just incomprehensible. Bryan Cranston and Jon Hamm getting nominated takes some of the sting away, but still ... I'm feeling an awful urge to tie the dead bodies of some of the Emmy nominators to a prison doorknobs and make make it all look like mass seppuku.
