Rainn Wilson really wants you to go see The Rocker.
I’ve held off on blogging about this mainly because I pretty much never go to the movies. Too expensive and crowded. And most of them are duds. So while The Rocker looks pretty good, I’m waiting for it to come out on DVD. I did the same with Jenna Fischer’s The Promotion, which opened in June and it’s coming out in a couple weeks.
That said, Wilson has taken Fischer hostage in the trunk of his Trans Am and won’t release her until the movie grosses $18.7 million. That’s a random number.
He’s even taken over her MySpace page, which is a pretty good thing since at least it might be updated more often. There’s also a contest. Send in the most ticket stubs and receive a specially customized podcast from him. Now that would be kind of cool.
