Itching for some ‘Daisies,’ ‘Dirty’ and ‘Eli’ closure? You’ll have to wait awhile…

Sigh.
It’s bad enough that ABC cancelled three of its fabulous sophomore shows: “Pushing Daisies,” “Dirty Sexy Money” and “Eli Stone.”
But now we’re hearing that the handful of episodes that are left for each show won’t air until this SUMMER.
Yup, you read that right.
E!’s Kristin dos Santos reports that the final installments aren’t set to hit the tube until June at the earliest, mainly because specials and reruns of other shows are doing better in the ratings.
I suppose we can’t fault ABC for that. If we’re not watching, they’re not airing, right?
Still, I’m sad that I won’t get closure on these programs – especially my fave, “Pushing Daisies” – until I start wearing flip-flops instead of Uggs.
