Final ‘Pushing Daisies’ episodes to air

May
8

Yay!

And, sniff.

Yes, that wonderful wacky world that is “Pushing Daisies” is still canceled, but there’s a silver lining to that black TV cloud. ABC is finally, FINALLY going to air the show’s final three episodes.

“Daisies” went on an indefinite hiatus back in December, and once the network decided not to renew the show, fans were left wondering what would happen to those lost installments.

Well, you’re gonna get ‘em starting May 30 at 10 p.m.

(Yes, that’s a Saturday. Yes, that’s the total time slot from hell. No, beggars can’t be choosers.)

In the first new ep, “Window Dressed to Kill,” Emerson asks Chuck to help him solve the murder of a window dresser after Ned decides to hang up his dead-raising skills. As for Olive, the two criminals she asked to kidnap her as a child (a cry for more attention from Mommy and Daddy) stage a jail break and go to the wee waitress for help.

So enjoy smelling the “Daisies” while you can, because it officially wraps up its small screen incarnation on June 13.

Creator Bryan Fuller has said that the characters and stories will live on in a comic book series, but the question is: How will the TV version end?

The episodes have aired already in the UK, and I’ve seen how it ends – be prepared for disappointment once you see the ending and realize…this is it. It does leave things open-ended for any follow-ups, but still, it sucks that it had to end how it did.
