Love the campaign and I contributed $5. That said, this writer gave us fans a little too much credit:

*No, fans didn’t inundate the network with nuts or other snack food: FALSE; I sent my Nerds week before last to the head of NBC programming
*They didn’t lash out at the network in a dizzying series of online tirades across message boards, chatrooms and Twitter feeds: Patently FALSE; are you kidding me? I've seen post-modern rants that went on for pages.
*They didn’t even hang their heads in resignation: Wait for it...TRUE. This we have not done.

Awesome idea - and I'm glad that the Chuck renewal effort is doing some good in addition to trying to get the show renewed.

One quibble though (from the statistician in me) - "if 20,000 Nielsen families represent 304,000,000 people, then 350 Chuck donors would represent 5,320,000 people" is an incredible abuse of statistics. The reason 20,000 Neilson families can represent 304 million households is because it is a random sample. If 20,000 random people were asked if they'd donated to the AHA to support Chuck and 350 did, then you could claim that it represents 5.3 million - but getting 350 highly motivated Chuck fans to donate doesn't equate to 5.3 million people through any reasonable logic.

My statistical complaint aside though - I think its and awesome campaign and am glad you're promoting it here.

This is awesome! And I'm honored, proud and ecstatic that I am part of the whole Save Chuck Campaign! Someone should really call their local news and say, hey, look what Chuck fans are doing! They're loyal fans, with loyal and great hearts . . . they're giving to a wonderful charity and we need your help :D That would be, literally, awesome!
