The summer series face-off: Readers Poll asks ‘What do you REALLY want to watch?’

In our most recent readers poll we asked what summer series they were looking forward to most.
Now, I don’t watch a ton of summer TV, so I scoured the schedules to be sure I didn’t leave out anything big. Then I left the poll open for readers to add choices I might have omitted.
Well, sure enough, the top three picks after a week of voting were shows readers had to add themselves because I didn’t include them.
Burn Notice and So You Think You Can Dance led the tally with 17 percent apiece, while Psych was close behind with 11 percent. Weeds and Entourage took 9 percent each. Most of the 25 or so shows listed received only 1 vote or no votes at all. Even Pushing Daisies, which is just running out its final three episodes before summer even arrives scored a handful of votes.
So I’m rebooting the poll, dropping all those shows no one has yet showed much interest in. I’ll leave it open to new additions, of course, but it’ll be interesting to see what readers really can’t wait to see.
Me, I’ll be watching old episodes of Chuck and The Office.
