It’s week two of Chuck Me Mondays, a fan-driven effort to keep the Chuck buzz going.
Love the show? Then join in! Never seen it? Definitely join in! Here’s how it works.
Go to wb.com at 9 p.m. ET and watch the second episode of Season 1, “Chuck Versus the Helicopter.” That’s the one where Casey doesn’t trust Sarah, Sarah doesn’t trust Casey, Chuck doesn’t trust either one of them and Morgan fails to score any of Ellie’s pot roast.
Most important, the weinerlicious costume makes its debut.
OK, so once you’re watching the episode, you’re halfway there. Then go to twitter.com (where you should take eight seconds to set up an account if you don’t have one) and start twittering about the episode, being sure to include #chuckmemondays in every tweet. That’s a hashtag that will ensure the tweets of everyone taking part will be grouped together in a show of solidarity.
You can also join the conversation at the ChuckTV.net forums. No need to wait until 9 to do that.
Also, if need be, watching on your DVDs or iTunes downloads works too, though then you should really be sure to join the Twitter conversation to be sure your voice is heard. It’s not a bad idea to grab a Subway footlong today, which supports the show’s sponsor, as away to send a message. I’m loving the $5 grilled chicken with all the veggies.
Here’s the official episode summary.
As Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi) continues to come to grips with his newly adopted life as a spy, tension builds between his recently appointed partners Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski) and John Casey (Adam Baldwin). When a doctor who seems to have a solution to Chuck’s problem is killed, Casey and Walker turn the blame at one another. Both agents persistently try to convince Chuck that the other one is responsible and now it is up to Chuck to decide which one to trust. Who will he choose?
I watched this episode last night because I plan to post a recap tomorrow (and every Tuesday this summer). It’s great to see the early interactions among these now-familiar characters. It’s also interesting to watch, knowing everything about them that we now know. I’ll leave it at that for now so as not to be spoilery.

Getting ready for round two. Can we get Chuckmemondays higher than 4 tonight?
Happy Tweeting
We actually had far more participation this week but faced the iPhone/WWDC furor/excitement, so we needed twice as many tweets to just hit 6th place. Still, it is good to see more people joining in, and we seem to pick up some brand new viewers each week due to the trend.
We are doing good work here, as are you.
