‘So You Think You Can Dance’ scores five Emmy nominations!

Sure, “Dancing with the Stars” gets bigger ratings and scored 11 Emmy nomination this morning. But only one of those was for actual DANCING.
So we all know which reality show is the winner in terms of celebrating the art of dance, right?
Yup, “So You Think You Can Dance” scored five Emmy nods, four of which were for Outstanding Choreography. (The other was for makeup.)
That also means “SYTYCD” dominates the six-slot category, making up two-thirds of the nominees in that field.
That’s the good news.
The bad news is that choreographers Tabitha and Napoleon, Mia Michaels, Tyce Diorio and Dmitry Chaplin are competing against each other for the trophy. (Along with Derek and Julianne Hough of “Dancing with the Stars” and Rob Ashford for the Academy Awards musical tribute.)
So here’s the question: Which one of the nominated “SYTYCD” numbers is your favorite?

• “Mercy,” choreographer Mia Michaels.
• “Adam and Eve,” choreographer Tyce Diorio.
• “A Los Amigos,” choreographer (and Season 2 finalist!) Dmitry Chaplin.
As for me, I’m partial to Mia’s “Mercy.” I can still picture Twitch laughing as Katee crazily hung off that apartment door, can’t you?

I definitely am a huge fan of SYTYCD and am so proud of the 5 emmy nods! I loved all of the dances but mine rank as follows:
4. A los amigos
3. Bleeding Love (although i loved it!)
2. Mercy
1. Adam and Eve
No one can ever replace Will Wingfield in the dance world. This dance with Jessica was beautifully choreographed and wonderfully executed. I will always remember this dance and the place it will hold in my heart forever. It’s all about love, and what God intended it to be like.
although i want bleeding love to win i beleive the best dance is adam and eve
I found all the clips on you tube, all the SYTYCD ones are great! Bleeding love was my favorite!
