Readers weigh in on Jackson coverage and call it over the top

I don’t even want to offer a comment on this except to say that I’m not surprised.
More Remote Access readers than not felt the coverage of Michael Jackson’s death and funeral was overkill or at least a bit over the top. A sizeable minority felt it was well warranted for such an American icon.
It’s a tough thing to weigh in on because it’s so emotional. No one should speak ill of the dead, but then there are so many aspects to the story that leave us feeling uncomfortable and missing that bright eyed kid who outshined his siblings in the Jackson 5.
It’s not a story with a happy ending, and that’s all I can say about that.
