‘Lost’ University? And own a piece of the ABC series!
Okay, so you won’t exactly be playing hacky sack on the quad with Sawyer.
That doesn’t mean that this website isn’t a whole lot of fun, though. (Student “enrollment” starts Sept. 22, 2009, the five-year anniversary of the crash of Oceanic Flight 815.)
Just imagine it.
Wouldn’t it be cool if you could actually take a physics class taught by Jeremy Davies (who played the doomed Daniel Faraday)?
Or a psych course that analyzed all of the characters’ dysfunctional family relationships?
Anyway, check around the site and see if you can find any clues to what’s coming up on the show – or maybe at Comic-Con this weekend. I’m sure it’s not a coincidence that ABC launched the “university” just days before the convention’s scheduled “Lost” panel on July 25.
In other news related to the “Lost”-verse, you’ll also get a chance to own a piece of the show. An auction of “Lost” memorabilia will take place next May, coinciding neatly with the series finale.
According to the (N.Y.) Daily News, some of the items up for grabs are:
• Hurley’s winning Lotto ticket
• Charlie’s guitar
• Kate’s toy plane
• Sawyer’s letter
• Locke’s hunting knife
• Eko’s club
Personally, I’d love to get my hands on James Ford’s iconic letter to the original Sawyer (and Locke’s father).
What would you buy if you could?
