‘Lost’ final season update: How often will we see Charlie?

Dominic Monaghan’s surprise appearance at last weekend’s Comic-Con seemed to confirm those rumors that we’ll be seeing more of Charlie Pace in the final season of “Lost.”

But what exactly does that mean? Are we talking one fleeting Libby-like apparition? Or a full-blown season-long storyline?

Well, E! Online is reporting that Monaghan is signed, sealed and set to appear in three episodes. No word on how much screen time he’ll get in each one, however.

And we still don’t know the answer to the question that Monaghan himself posed about Charlie (via a written message on his palm at Comic-Con).

“Am I alive?”
