			<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>Like some <em>Office</em> scoop? Well I found some.</p>

	<p>E!Online's Kristin dishes the following:<br />
<ul><br />
<li>Playing the part of the Pratt Institute, where Pam was accepted into the graphic design program in the finale, will be played by the University of Southern California. Scoop quality : 3 out of 10.</li><br />
<li>Pam's art professors are a bearded dude and a lady hipster. Scoop quality 6 out of 10.</li><br />
<li>"Pam gets lost and sits in on the wrong class, but eventually she finds her way&#8230; (Ooh, metaphor!)" Scoop quality: 6 out of 10.</li><br />
</ul><br />
<img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/office-pammy-at-vs.JPG" alt="office-pammy-at-vs.JPG" align="left" height="267" width="190" />So Pam's definitely going. And we know already that the premiere will be a series of flashbacks to her summer in New York (and some sort of group weight-loss program back at Scranton). But now I hear through the grapevine that Jenna Fischer told Marie Claire magazine that Jim and Pam will have to endure a long-distance relationship this season.</p>

<p>Now, did she mean all season long? Probably not, since the cast probably hasn't had scripts long enough for her to know the deal and to put it out there at this point.</p>

<p>And could it be a red herring? Like, could she be misleading the diehard fans who hang on every spoiler that leaks out? I doubt that, only because why would she tease fans with a bit of info that is basically the last thing any fans want to hear. Season 3 saw a split-location story arc really hurt the show's vibe.</p>

<p>And then there are these tidbits from EW's Michael Ausiello (after the jump)... <a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/2008/08/07/office-scoop-pams-summer-in-nyc-long-distance-relationships-and-a-mad-man-in-scranton/#more-6422" class="more-link">(more&#8230;)</a></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>Fan-frakkin'-tastic news: It has been confirmed on the <a href="http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/showtracker/2008/08/battlestar-gala.html" target="_blank">L.A. Times Show Tracker blog</a> that there will indeed be at least one BSG telemovie after the series comes to its end. And it's Cylon-centric!</p>

	<p><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/adamatyrol.jpg" title="adamatyrol.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/adamatyrol.jpg" alt="adamatyrol.jpg" width="380" /></a></p>

<p>Directed by Edward James "Adm. Adama" Olmos and written by Jane Espenson (a sometime BSG writer and one of the brains behind Buffy), it will be a two-hour special on Sci Fi that'll air sometime in 2009.</p>

<p>Doesn't have a name yet, but three cast members have been confirmed: Michael Trucco, the onetime human freedom fighter now confirmed Cylon Sam Anders; Aaron Douglas, the now-former crew chief and stunned into baldness hidden Cylon Gaelyn Tyrol; and Dean Stockwell, the pretend-priest Cavil Cylon model No. 1. Some of the female regulars on the series also are being cast, it's promised.</p>

	<p>According to the LATimes:<br />
<blockquote>The stand-alone will document the Cylons' attempts&#8212;those of two agents in particular&#8212;to grapple with human survivors, both those aboard ships and those left alive on planets, shortly after the Cylons' destruction of human home worlds.</blockquote><br />
This should be incredibly awesome.</p>

<p>Olmos has directed four episodes of BSG: Season 1 episode Tigh Me Up, Tigh Me Down, Season 3's "Taking a Break from All Your Worries" and Season 4's "Escape Velocity." His fourth is Episode 20 of Season 4, the name of which has yet to be released.</p>

<p>Espenson's written four episodes: Season 3's "The Passage" and "Dirty Hands" and Season 4's "Escape Velocity" (bodes well for the telemovie, no?) and absolutely stunningly excellent "The Hub."</p>

	<p>Excited yet?</p>

<p><em>Photo courtesy of NBC Universal &#8211; and, yes, it's from "Escape Velocity." Couldn't help myself. </em></p>

	<p><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/snl-obama-hillary.jpg" alt="snl-obama-hillary.jpg" width="400" /></p>

<p>At various times, these were probably true. Often, though, they couldn't have been. After all, if prior lineups and renditions were always funnier, the show would have been in steep decline since its inception. Even harsh critics would agree instead that the show has had its peaks and valleys.</p>

<p>I can only speak from memory, though, because it's been years since I could stay up that late with any regularity. So I'm pretty stoked for plans this fall to accommodate my increasingly early bedtimes.</p>

<p>And Lorne Michaels and Co. are doing so in a way that takes advantage of what I see as the show's historic strength&#8212;the political satire of Weekend Update (aka the original faux news). <a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/2008/08/07/with-massive-fall-election-campaign-snl-finally-recognizes-that-i-just-cant-stay-up-that-late/#more-6314" class="more-link">(more&#8230;)</a></p>

<p>Especially Twitch and Joshua, because if you believe the <a href="http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/detail.jsp?contentId=22089" title="E!" target="_blank">rumor mill</a>, the boys were the two dancers <a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/2008/08/06/dance-dehydration-drama/" title="Remote Access" target="_blank">rushed to the hospital</a> over the weekend for dehydration.</p>

<p>The only references the show made to the incident were vague, like Nigel's comment after the quartet's last Braveheart-inspired Mia Michaels routine. He told the group that he knows everyone's exhausted, but tough noogies, no one in an audience cares about that when they're watching a show.</p>

<p>Whatever. If Twitch and Joshua were indeed the ones who collapsed, I'd say they deserve a little sympathy after watching their insanely taxing Russian typytych, which was without question the best routine of the night.</p>

<p>A dance battle played out to the Nutcracker Suite?!? Total genius. And like guest judge Mandy Moore pointed out, those dudes needed the stamina of stallions to pull that off.</p>

<p>That said, the number also served to highlight every single one of Joshua's strengths. Those leaps! Those flips! That now brace-free smile!</p>

<p>If this dance battle was supposed to parallel the larger competition, I'd say Josh&#8212;not Twitch&#8212;will be the winner tonight. The judges seemed to be steering voters that way, too, with Nigel calling Joshua and Katee "two of the most brilliant dancers ever on this show."</p>

	<p>So why don't I think Katee will win?</p>

<p>Don't get me wrong, she's got a shot&#8212;and if she's crowned America's Favorite Dancer, I wouldn't be surprised. Her technique is spectacular, and she's never gotten a bad review from the judges.</p>

<p>But I suspect that Katee may fall prey to the same syndrome that afflicted Chelsie Hightower last week: She's just too consistently good, so the fact that she's made it this far hasn't surprised anyone.</p>

<p>It'll be a close call, but I'll wager that the audience, much like Nigel &#038; Co., are loving Joshua's "untrained" status just a tiny bit more. That gives him a strange but powerful advantage: He can be an underdog at the same time he's a fan favorite.</p>

<p>Plus, who wouldn't love that a hip-hopper would take the title for the first time?</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>The four "So You Think You Can Dance" finalists got an unexpected day off on Sunday, after two of the contestants were sent to the hospital for dehydration.</p>

	<p><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/top4_d2y8515.jpg" title="top4_d2y8515.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/top4_d2y8515.jpg" alt="top4_d2y8515.jpg" height="275" width="397" /></a></p>

<p>Judge Mary Murphy told <a href="http://tvwatch.people.com/2008/08/04/two-of-the-top-4-sytycd-contestants-hospitalized/?xid=rss-topheadlines" title="People" target="_blank">People magazine</a> that the two unnamed dancers collapsed during rehearsals on Saturday, and they were rushed by ambulance to nearby Cedars Sinai Hospital.</p>

<p>Murphy said that the other two (presumably healthy) dancers weren't allowed to practice on Sunday, so the playing field would hopefully be level for tonight's final performance show.</p>

	<p>But will it?</p>

<p>FOX refused to give the identities of the ill dancers, so it'll be interesting to see if the show acknowledges the situation tonight.</p>

<p>Previously, we'd been told about Comfort's dislocated shoulder&#8212;but that was way back in the first week of the competition. The stakes are much higher now.</p>

<p>My guess is that lips will be sealed this time, because the producers won't want to be accused of messing with the winning results: Viewers might give the sick dancers sympathy votes.</p>

<p>We'll see what happens when the big event kicks off tonight at 8&#8212;and the winner is crowned on Thursday. Stay tuned!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>The Olympics open in Bejing on Friday, of course, and a new documentary by ABC correspondent Bob Woodruff gives us a glimpse at how China is growing in wealth, power and influence throughout the world.</p>

	<p><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/tjndc5-5eg6e39nlhfm105s41r_original.jpg" title="tjndc5-5eg6e39nlhfm105s41r_original.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/tjndc5-5eg6e39nlhfm105s41r_original.jpg" alt="tjndc5-5eg6e39nlhfm105s41r_original.jpg" align="left" height="300" width="203" /></a></p>

<p>Airing tonight at 10 p.m. as a special edition of "Primetime," "China Inside Out: Bob Woodruff Reports" takes a look at how this once isolated country is now forming interesting relationships with other countries&#8212;including the U.S.</p>

<p>This is Woodruff's second documentary for ABC since returning to work in February 2007: He sustained a severe brain injury from a roadside bomb while reporting in Iraq. (His first doc chronicled his own recovery and that of soldiers with similar injuries.)</p>

<p>The documentary marks another occasion for Woodruff, too: China is where he started out as a journalist.</p>

<p>He was teaching law in Beijing when the revolt in Tiananmen Square happened, and he signed on as a translator for American news networks.</p>

<p>Yamin finished third in the fifth season of "Idol," ahead of Chris Daughtry and just barely behind Taylor Hicks and Katharine McPhee. He was seen several times on this most recent season of "Idol," appearing in multiple segments with fellow alum Fantasia Barrino for their trip to Africa for "Idol Gives Back." He made another appearance in Season 7 to perform the song "Free" in honor of his feisty and lovable mother, Claudette, who had just passed away.</p>

<p>His hit single "Wait for You" was the highest-charting song by a non-Daughtry "Idol" alum last year. His self-titled album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and was later certified gold by the RIAA.</p>

<p>If you're around Thursday, go support the talented Mr. Yamin at Playland. (<a href="http://ryeplayland.org/EntertainmentEvents/index.htm" target="_blank">Click here for more info.</a>) He's one of the best success stories in "Idol" history and seems to be one of the most grounded contestants to boot.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>One of my favorite summer series, Eureka (on SciFi) made its return last week with "Bad to the Drone."</p>

<p>A usual in Eureka, a fantastical invention goes kablooey and Sheriff Carter has to undo all the havoc wreaked in its wake.</p>

	<p><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/nup_130956_0103-2.jpg" title="nup_130956_0103-2.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/nup_130956_0103-2.jpg" alt="nup_130956_0103-2.jpg" width="380" /></a></p>

<p>The twist this time is that after last season's complete breach of security by Henry, the DOD has sent in someone who's going to check out operations in America's smartest town and see what can be done better.</p>

<p><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/nup_130932_0338-2.jpg" title="nup_130932_0338-2.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/nup_130932_0338-2.jpg" alt="nup_130932_0338-2.jpg" align="right" width="225" /></a>Turns out she's a bigwig called in to cut jobs and costs for many big players on Wall Street. Everyone's fearing for their jobs, so the demonstration of the drones is more important than ever. Of course, one drone goes rogue; as usual, Carter's daughter, Zoe, somehow ends up in the middle of things but turns out just fine.</p>

<p>Carter saves the day, blah, blah, blah.</p>

<p>My last sentence aside, I enjoyed the season premiere. Still, there are a few things I wish they wouldn't have messed with:</p>

<p>• Allison completely should be with Carter, not Stark. I don't believe Stark's about-face. It's too picture-perfect. I know he saved their son last season and all, but he's a slimeball. If the creators really have turned him around, I don't think it's for the better. She shouldn't remarry him. Sigh.</p>

<p>• Jo should have stayed with the crazy tracker guy (I forget his name) instead of going for the young, good-looking hacker. That was a much more interesting relationship, not least of all because it was so unusual for TV. (I know, that was last season; I still haven't gotten over it.)</p>

	<p><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/nup_130932_0074-2.jpg" title="nup_130932_0074-2.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/nup_130932_0074-2.jpg" alt="nup_130932_0074-2.jpg" width="380" /></a></p>

<p>• More S.A.R.A.H.!!! By the way, did you know that the guy who plays Fargo also voices SARAH? And she also has her own <a href="http://twitter.com/<em>S_A_R_A_H</em>">Twitter</a> page.</p>

<p>Tonight's episode has Carter trying to track down some strange creature in the woods.</p>

	<p>Here's a trailer: <a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/2008/08/05/eureka-preview-plus-the-made-in-eureka-informercials/#more-6373" class="more-link">(more&#8230;)</a></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>Your friendly neighborhood slacker<em> Office</em> blogger here, back from vacation and digging out from under a mound of links and cool <em>Office </em>news. Sorry if any of this is old news to you, but I just can't bring myself to just delete it without posting it up for anyone who might have missed it.</p>

<p>A lot of us Dunderheads just tune out for the summer, you know, and I like to be that shining light in the hiatus darkness.</p>

<p><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/la-ofis-cap.jpg" alt="la-ofis-cap.jpg" align="left" width="285" />So the <strong><a href="http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117989415.html?categoryid=19&#038;cs=1">Russians are getting into 'The Office'</a> </strong>too, huh? Produced by Red Square Productions, no less. Lenin is turning over in his grave. The workers will never control the means of paper production as long as Mikhail Scott is in charge. This is from Ricky Gervais's blog&#8230;<br />
<blockquote>As soon as David Brentski has been cast I will post a picture. We are looking for a middle-aged slightly overweight unknown actor with an funny face. Do you think that could work? Good.</blockquote><br />
Russia and Chile are set to become the fourth and fifth countries to adapt Gervais's original. Actually, timing is everything, because The Chilean version of The Office debuts tomorrow. Bend your mind around this promo video of <strong><a href="http://forms.canal13.cl/laofis/wa/Juegos/347713" target="_blank"><strong>La O</strong></a></strong><strong><a href="http://forms.canal13.cl/laofis/wa/Juegos/347713" target="_blank"><strong>fis</strong></a></strong>.</p>

<p>By the way, Britons, while poor spellers, are not averse to the occasional mea culpa, as this link demonstrates on both counts: <a href="http://blogs.coventrytelegraph.net/passtheremote/2008/07/an-honest-opinion-on-the-offic.html" target="_blank"><strong>An honest opinion on The Office: An American Workplace</strong></a>.<br />
<h3>SPOILER ALERT!!! (after the break)</h3><br />

<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>OK, so maybe I've been living in a vacuum, but I had never heard of Jack Davenport, who plays Bruce Miller, before "Swingtown." Then, while trolling cbs.com last night, I found some video interviews with the cast and was surprised to find that our off-screen "Bruce" is no Chicagoan. Not that that's a bad thing, mind you. It's just that his American accent is so good that I never suspected. And while trolling another website, imdb.com, I found that Davenport has a long and impressive resume in films. In fact, other than Grant Show, many of "Swingtown's" lead-role thespians have brief histories in acting (at least on the big and small screens).</p>

<p>If you're really into this show, I encourage you to go to cbs.com, where it's fun to see the actors who play Bruce, Susan, Roger and Janet in modern-day clothes. The biggest surprise was Miriam Shor, who plays annoying drip Janet. Turns out that her real-life appearance is quite different, starting with her hair. And Shor pointed out how much of a dork Janet is, which in some twisted way, made me dislike Janet less. Meanwhile, no matter what Grant Show wears today, that mustache can't release him from that '70s look. Lana Parrilla and her Trina look similar&#8212;gorgeous&#8212;on- and off-screen. <img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/swingus.jpg" alt="swingus.jpg" align="right" height="296" width="197" /></p>

<p>But moving on to the most recent ep, Laurie and Doug finally got busted by Susan and Bruce, thank goodness, sending Daddy into a well-deserved rage. Our move into this house has screwed up our family, he yells, and it has to stop. OK, so let's see if he can bring Susan's piqued interest in swinging to a halt.</p>

<p>Everytime Janet loosens up a bit&#8212;like by going to the Pendulum Club, she soon falls back into her dullsville rut. But I think Trina is successfully uncovering at least a part of Janet's wild side, which we all know lurks someone inside her. After all, didn't she finally look decent while wearing that sassy red dress she borrowed from Trina?</p>

<p>What a hoot seeing Sam, BJ and their friends playing Pong. Compared to today's video games, it's like an iPhone vs. two cans connected by a string.</p>

<p>And now for the weekly tally on which songs on the soundtrack were from the original artists or fakes: I must say that there were 3 or 4 I didn't recognize or hear well enough to ID. Nonetheless, Real: "Don't Go Breaking My Heart," "Crimson &#038; Clover" and "Let's Get It On." Fake: "Mi Corazon" (I not sure if that's the song's official name). <img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/running-on-empty.jpg" alt="running-on-empty.jpg" height="206" width="309" /></p>

<p>This Friday, on "Running on Empty," Bruce and Susan escape to the family cabin to reconnect with each other and their kids. Janet and Roger see a therapist, and Tom and Trina make the most of their new closed-married status. (Photo courtesy of CBS.)</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>We all knew the "Lost" cast had to be some kind of gorgeous to make blood, sweat and general jungle grime look really, really good.</p>

<p>But damn, once those crazy island kids shower and put on some new clothes, they're the sexiest castaways ever.</p>

<p>What the heck am I talking about? Well, even though "Lost" won't be back for another six months, ABC just released a gallery of new photos of the individual actors. And in addition to shots in their usual island garb of jeans and T-shirts, there's a second set of them all glammed up.</p>

	<p><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/sayid.jpg" title="sayid.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/sayid.jpg" alt="sayid.jpg" height="246" width="189" /></a><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/kate.jpg" title="kate.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/kate.jpg" alt="kate.jpg" height="243" width="183" /></a> <a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/sun.jpg" title="sun.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/sun.jpg" alt="sun.jpg" height="246" width="193" /></a><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/sawyer.jpg" title="sawyer.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/sawyer.jpg" alt="sawyer.jpg" height="249" width="190" /></a></p>

<p>I mean, Kate, Sun and Juliet are seriously va-va-voom. Sawyer and Sayid are more smokin' than usual. Even Hurley and Ben clean up impressively.</p>

<p>But there's a lot more going on with these pictures than just looking at the pretty people. (Although that's fun, too: I'm considering using the one of Jin as my screensaver.)</p>

<p>Now, seriously, what do these photos say about the upcoming Season 5? Because as any Lost-phile knows, there's always hidden messages in anything the show puts out there.</p>

<p>Remember last year's poster of the island's reflection in the ocean? Sharp-eyed fans noticed that the image wasn't of the island, but of a city skyline&#8212;hinting at Season 4's main story arc of the Oceanic Six going home.</p>

<p>So what could a photo of Claire dressed in black mean for upcoming episodes? Are the producers acknowledging that she is indeed dead&#8212;or undead, kind of like Christian?</p>

<p>Here's another one to ponder: Why is there a new picture of Michael? Why is actor Harold Perrineau listed with the other series regulars?</p>

<p>Michael obviously died in the finale's freighter explosion&#8212;and it would seem that Perrineau's rant about how the handling of his death had <a href="http://hollywoodinsider.ew.com/2008/06/lost-harold-per.html" title="Entertainment Weekly" target="_blank">racist implications </a>wouldn't exactly encourage the producers to bring him back. Was it all an elaborate ruse to throw us off track?</p>

<p>Click through to check out the rest of the cast photos&#8212;and start wondering how they figure into the "Lost" world&#8230;</p>

<p>For now, however, he's counting down to tomorrow's two-hour performance finale. It's the dance battle to end all dance battles, with Twitch Boss, Katee Shean, Courtney Galiano and Joshua Allen (pictured above) fighting for the title of America's Favorite Dancer.</p>

<p>The winner will be announced Thursday night.</p>

<p>Go Twitch, go Twitch, go Katee, go Katee, go Courtney, go Courtney, go Joshua, go Joshua, go, go, go&#8230;</p>

	<p>(So sue me, I haven't picked a favorite yet.)</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>It's been an eventful two weeks on <em>Weeds</em>. I was on vacation and never got around to posting my reactions to last week's episode. I'm back on the job, though, and this one was a doozie.</p>

<p><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/0401-nancy-binocs.jpg" alt="0401-nancy-binocs.jpg" align="right" width="285" />And you'll be happy to know I finally got caught up with all the past episodes I'd missed. Man, Majestic/Agrestic burned up fast.</p>

<p>Anyway, remember when Ren Mar was this new place where the Botwins didn't quite seem to fit? I can barely remember what it was like when it wasn't home.</p>

<p>What was Nancy thinking when she went behind Guillermo's back last week? We knew the seeds were sewn for her boredom early on, and a return to the weed-dealing game was coming soon. And I don't know (or at least I don't recall) what Guillermo's problem was when he said no to her request for product to start dealing again.</p>

<p>I guess he was still mad about her foray into the tunnel, which didn't reflect well on him with Esteban.</p>

<p>But going over Guillermo's head to Esteban was only going to ruffle his machismo, as evidenced by his threat to kill her in front of her kids. I liked how Esteban handled that bit of business. I can't imagine Guillermo thinks everything is settled, though. <a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/2008/08/05/weeds-i-am-the-table/#more-6377" class="more-link">(more&#8230;)</a></p>

<p>The edgy teen soap has been off the air since May, but you'd never know it from all the coverage it's been getting lately.</p>

	<p><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/tc2008_3929.jpg" title="tc2008_3929.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/tc2008_3929.jpg" alt="tc2008_3929.jpg" height="265" width="398" /></a></p>

<p>The series and its stars have been all over:</p>

	<p>• Fashion magazines (they're part of Vanity Fair's annual <a href="http://www.vanityfair.com/culture/features/2008/08/nextwave_portfolio200808?currentPage=3" title="Vanity Fair" target="_blank">Bright Young Hollywood</a> issue)</p>

<p>• <a href="http://www.nypost.com/seven/07282008/gossip/pagesix/true_gossip_121926.htm" title="NY Post" target="_blank">Gossip columns</a> (dating co-stars Blake Lively and Penn Badgley are making out all over the set, and no one's talking to the actress playing Penn's new on-screen love interest because it'll make Blake upset!)</p>

	<p>• and even respected news organizations like CNN.com (about the CW's meant-to-be-controversial uber-sexy Season 2 <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/TV/07/23/tv.gossipgirlpromo.ap/" title="CNN" target="_blank">ad campaign</a>)</p>

<p>Then, as the ultimate badge of honor, "GG" was the big winner at last night's <a href="http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/b21949_teens_give_it_up_gossip_girl_jonas_boys.html" title="E!" target="_blank">Teen Choice Awards</a>.</p>

<p><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/51252.jpeg" title="51252.jpeg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/51252.jpeg" alt="51252.jpeg" align="right" height="232" width="156" /></a>It snagged SIX surfboard trophies: Choice TV Drama, Breakout Show, Breakout Male Actor (Chase "Nate" Crawford), Breakout Female and TV Drama Actress (Blake "Serena" Lively) and TV Villain (Ed "evil Chuck" Westwick).</p>

<p>And if that isn't enough to make you say "YAY!" then remember this: It's less than a month now until the show's back on the air for its sophomore season.</p>

<p>Yup, our favorite snarky blogger returns on Sept. 1: It's a holiday, people, so remember to set your TiVos, if you can't roll your bloated, sunburned self home from that Labor Day BBQ by 8 p.m.</p>

<p>And what's in store for our beloved prep-schoolers, besides the already-reported new love for Dan and summer fun in the Hamptons?</p>

<p>Ooh, Serena and Blair get in a catfight over &#8230;</p>

	<p>a flashlight.</p>

<p>That's the word from <a href="http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20216109,00.html" title="Entertainment Weekly" target="_blank">Michael Ausiello</a>, the former TV Guide guru who's now freshly ensconced at Entertainment Weekly.</p>

<p>Sheesh, Mike, I hope you can get better "GG" scoop that THAT in the future.</p>

<p>That's all for now, boys and girls, arrivederci, ciao, au revoir and all that &#8230;</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>It hasn't happened yet to the aggressive little minx and daughter of conservative Susan and Bruce. But I can see it in the cards. She'll get preggers via her former summer-school teacher, Doug, who prefers that he and Laurie take things nice and slow. Doug will be in big-time hot water, Laurie will finally realize her massive boo-boo, Susan and Bruce will have coronaries and the town will have a field day with the juicy news. Oh, and Miss Priss Janet will publicly scorn them all.</p>

	<p><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/puzzlerama.jpg" alt="puzzlerama.jpg" height="257" width="386" /></p>

<p>"Swingtown's" most recent ep, "Puzzlerama," produced a bit of swinging. Trina's game, Puzzlerama '76 (Tom called it "Truth or Dare on a rollercoaster") got married Bruce to make out with swingle (meaning, swinging single) coworker Melinda next to the downtown newsstand. Tom spotted them but, to his credit, made it so Mrs. Bruce didn't when they were also on the scavenger hunt around the train station.</p>

<p>I don't quite understand what the show's writers are doing with the Millers' slutty, alcoholic neighbor Gail. She pops up every now and then, but her storyline never really goes anywhere except to show that she's a rotten mother.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Janet, who's dorkiness is QUITE irksome, goes postal on Roger, to which he tells her that things always have to be perfect in her life and that it's not easy having a conversation with her. FINALLY&#8212;someone tells bland Jan that she needs to loosen up.</p>

<p>And lastly, Susan tells Bruce that they should keep no secrets from each other. Boy, he's got a whopper now that he swapped major spit with Melinda. Better to follow the adage "Don't ask, don't tell," Brucie boy.<img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/swingus-interruptus.jpg" alt="swingus-interruptus.jpg" align="right" height="258" width="175" /></p>

<p>"Puzzlerama's" original vs. fake artist song tally had an impressive array of "real" songs. Originals: Midnight at the Oasis," Band of Gold," "I'm Your Venus," "More, More, More (How Do You Like It?)," "Saturday Night" (woo hoo&#8212;The Bay City Rollers!) and "Rollercoaster." Remakes: "Billy, Don't Be A Hero" and "Heaven Must Be Missing an Angel."</p>

<p>Tonight, on "Swingus Interruptus," despite having deciding to keep their marriage closed for now, Tom and Trina agree to join Susan, Bruce, Janet and Roger at a particularly racey club, where Roger gets some unwanted attention from a predatory woman. Go, Raj! (Photo courtesy of CBS.)</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>And then there were four.So did America get it right?</p>

<p>As you probably know by now&#8212;and if you don't, stop reading now!&#8212;Katee, Joshua, Courtney and Twitch are all headed for next week's showdown to win the "favorite dancer" title.</p>

	<p><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/top4_d2y8515.jpg" title="top4_d2y8515.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/top4_d2y8515.jpg" alt="top4_d2y8515.jpg" align="left" height="277" width="400" /></a></p>

<p>Chelsie and Mark&#8212;sniffle&#8212;are headed home. (And for the national tour, of course! Go to <a href="http://fox.com/dance/" title="Fox.com" target="_blank">www.fox.com/dance</a> to buy tickets this weekend for a show at a town near you.)</p>

<p>Were the results a surprise? Well, yes and no. This contest has been so topsy-turvy in the last few weeks that any of the Top 6 could have moved on.</p>

<p>But wisely, Katee and Joshua were whisked right to safety&#8212;and even though Cat emphasized that didn't necessarily mean they got the most votes, we all know she's lying. These partners are by far the most popular dancers right now, and they're very likely to be the ones battling it out at the very end of the finale.</p>

<p>Yet, could dark horse Courtney be a threat? I don't think even she believed she would make it this far, since she'd been in danger a few times. She improved by leaps and bounds as the competition progressed, however, and the fans noticed and rallied big time.</p>

	<p><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/elimination_d2y8455.jpg" title="elimination_d2y8455.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/08/elimination_d2y8455.jpg" alt="elimination_d2y8455.jpg" align="right" height="398" width="277" /></a> How else could she have bested the teachers' pet, Chelsie, who could do no wrong?</p>

<p>Seriously, when you think about it, how did Courtney beat out Chelsie, who, along with Katee, rarely received a negative comment from the judges? Now that I'm thinking about it, had Chelsie ever had to dance for her life?</p>

<p>Well, my guess is that Chelsie simply didn't grow as much as Courtney did. Weird as it may sound, Chelsie being great ALL THE TIME may have been her undoing. Then again, Katee has been consistently great, too, and that certainly didn't hurt her any. So what do I know? Maybe Katee's hometown of San Jose was just majorly blasting the phone lines.</p>

<p>As for Mark and Twitch? Charisma seemed to trump quirky in this case, with a gracious Mark seeming genuinely happy for Twitch's victory.</p>

<p>Nigel said that each one of the finalists polled over a million votes, but if I had to make a wager, it would be that Twitch and Mark were THISCLOSE.</p>

<p>And not to jump on the Mark bandwagon at this late date, but I was really charmed by his farewell speech. He hinted that he'd always felt out of place and unusual, so he was grateful that the audience liked his odd moves and kept him in the competition this long. Hooray, nonconformity!</p>

<p>Anyway, other than a few random tidbits&#8212;Joshua got his braces off! Six-year-old Lil' Demon can break like the big boys!&#8212;that's all the news from the dance floor. Because I'm not even going to get into the Lady Gaga performance, except to say, "What the hell was that?!?"</p>

<p>So tune in to the very last performance show next Wednesday, and find out Thursday who'll be crowned the champion and walk away with the $250,000 prize&#8212;and a role in guest judge Adam Shankman's new movie!</p>

	<p><em>(Photos courtesy of FOX)</em></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>Yesterday, I <a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/2008/07/30/chuck-season-20-trailers-tout-new-mission-new-danger-new-underwear/" target="_blank">posted some second-season trailers and photos of "Chuck"</a> and its cast members' appearances.</p>

	<p><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/07/chuck-and-casey.jpg" alt="chuck-and-casey.jpg" align="right" height="207" width="280" />And then, <a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/2008/07/30/chuck-season-20-trailers-tout-new-mission-new-danger-new-underwear/#comment-39995" target="_blank">thanks to a reader named Suzane</a>, I was alerted to an amazing, non-spoilery 6 1/2-minute montage of Season 2 snippets that <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lX7czCEk4UU" target="_blank">premiered at Comic-Con and found its way to YouTube</a>.</p>

<p>The video seriously has everything that "Chuck" fans love about the show: Humor, intrigue, drama, action, eye candy for all and stunt casting ahoy.</p>

<p>What's lost in audio and video quality (it's obviously a bootleg from an audience member) is gained in emotion: Hearing the rabid, devout audience's visceral reactions to the show and its cast is inspiring. The screams for guest star John Larroquette were great, but all the "Arrested Development" fans watching went all Motherboy crazy when a new "Chuck" regular&#8212;the lovably goofy Tony Hale&#8212;hit the screen. Very good sign.</p>

<p>We got some more footage of Michael Clarke Duncan, and some first looks at former New York Giant Michael Strahan, Jordana Brewster as heartbreaker Jill, . I was mildly disappointed by not shocked to see that few in the Comic-Con crowd seemed to recognize Strahan, cheering instead for the first montage appearance of his sparring partner, Joshua Gomez, a.k.a. Morgan Grimes.</p>

<p>Seriously, though. The video is a great appetizer for the season ahead and, despite Nicole Ritchie's guest spot, I couldn't be more psyched about it.</p>

<p>And if you liked that, here's a 45-minute(!) video from NBC.com of the "Chuck" crew at Comic-Con. I haven't even watched it yet&#8212;and I can't wait to do so&#8212;but I felt it was my duty to immediately post it here to pass the savings onto you.</p>

<p><em>UPDATE: There's one expletive in this video, so I guess parental discretion is advised blah blah blah:</em></p>

<p>On Sept. 7, HBO premieres "True Blood," a sultry vamp series from the folks who gave us "Six Feet Under" by way of Charlaine Harris' sassy Sookie Stackhouse novels. I'll post a full review Sept. 5. But I couldn't resist commenting now on a striking parallel between Meyer's PG books and the R-rated HBO series, which partly answers the question Freud posed &#8212; What do women want?</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>Two weeks ago, if you'd asked me if Mark and Courtney had any shot of making the Final Four, I'd have said your dance shoes were laced too tight.</p>

<p><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/07/top6_d2y8324.jpg" title="top6_d2y8324.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/07/top6_d2y8324.jpg" alt="top6_d2y8324.jpg" align="left" height="380" width="265" /></a> But now, between last week's shocking elimination of the amazing Will Wingfield and last night's incredible performances, I'm surprised to say that anything could happen in this competition.</p>

<p>Right now, I can't even begin to handicap this bloody thing. America, you've thrown me for a loop!</p>

<p>Twitch could be the guy going home tonight, since he was in the Bottom 2 last week and seems to be relying on his personality as much as his technique. Then again, voters upset by his recent close call could rally behind him.</p>

<p>And once upon a time, I'd have thought Courtney would be outta here (and she still might be, given her presence in the danger zone last week).</p>

<p>But she's got a dark horse thing going on right now, and the fact that she and Mark delivered what I thought was one of the best routines of the season&#8212;that wild French burlesque number by my new favorite choreographer Sonya&#8212;could work in her favor.</p>

<p><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/07/courtnymarkjazz_u1h2144.jpg" title="courtnymarkjazz_u1h2144.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/07/courtnymarkjazz_u1h2144.jpg" alt="courtnymarkjazz_u1h2144.jpg" align="right" height="355" width="248" /></a> Don't get me wrong, Chelsie and Katee have a strong cult behind them and they've been more consistently spectacular than Courtney throughout the season.</p>

<p>Still&#8212;and it seems weird to say this&#8212;their steady display of talent may not be enough to win. It's unbelievable that I'm now kind of bored by yet another hot, swivel-hipped Latin number by Chelsie.</p>

<p>At the moment, I'm more wowed by someone like Joshua.</p>

<p>Like Courtney, he's had a great arc on the show, improving every week, never losing his charm and nailing pretty much everything they throw his way.</p>

<p>Which is pretty spectacular, since&#8212;as the judges kept reminding themselves and the rest of us&#8212;Joshua's had no classical training. (Which I suspect isn't 100% accurate, but whatever.)</p>

	<p>Take a look at his solo.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>ComicCon has been a veritable treasure trove of information about our favorite shows, not least of all <em>24</em>.</p>

	<p>How I wish I were there&#8230;.</p>

	<p><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/07/24day7cast.jpg" width="380" /></p>

<p>But perhaps the most important issue that's been resolved is the fact that Jack Bauer does, indeed, go to the bathroom.</p>

<p>On Digital Spy, I read <a href="http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/cult/a116369/24-star-explains-toilet-break-absence.html">this article</a> in which Kiefer Sutherland explained why we never get to see Jack take a pee break:<br />
<blockquote>In all fairness, we shot a scene where he was going to raid an office, and he ran into a washroom and came out nine seconds later much relieved.</blockquote><br />
Now, uber-fans would have loved that scene. But, at the same time, they would have been really ticked off. The scene was cut.<br />
<blockquote>So whenever they cut to the White House, Jack is taking a pee. And he's also getting something to drink and eat.</blockquote><br />
Makes perfect sense. I mean, he's not on screen ALL the time. Just most of it. There's enough for bathroom breaks and a quick snack from the vending machine. Haven't you had one of those days? When you consider that these seven seasons have taken place over a period of 16 years in <em>24</em>-time, it's not that unreasonable.</p>

	<p>OK, so that brings us to <a href="http://tv.ign.com/articles/892/892544p1.html">this report</a> on IGN.</p>

<p>This is what Jack's facing when we first see him in <em>24: Exile,</em> the prequel telemovie airing this fall.<br />
<blockquote>At the end of Season 6, he was so disillusioned that there was something wonderful about shifting to Africa &#8211; that he had actually found a kind of peace and a calm there with his friend and the dynamic between Bobby Carlyle, who's an old friend of his, that he'd been working with in Special Forces some 15 years ago. Bobby Carlyle's character has started a school that is trying to give a safe haven and rehabilitate the children of African wars.</p>

<p>It's the first time that you saw this character kind of in a place where he felt like he was giving back for a lot of the things where I guess he felt like he'd been a part of the problem. This was an opportunity for him to kind of [atone]. So it's on an emotional level, not only physical, it was a really nice way to start for that character.</blockquote><br />
The prequel came about, of course, because no one wanted to wait until January for more <em>24</em>. And considering the abandoned Africa plotline, what the heck.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>I was already thrilled for the second season of "Chuck," but here are three more reasons to be excited.</p>

<p>First, a blind search for new "Chuck" clips on Hulu resulted in a couple of teaser trailers for the sophomore season, which launches Monday, Sept. 29 on NBC.</p>

<p>Within the first few seconds of the <a href="http://www.hulu.com/watch/27979/chuck-chuck-returns" target="_blank">this trailer (the better one)</a>, we see <a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/2008/06/09/chuck-cameos-to-include-stars-of-green-mile-night-court/" target="_blank">cameos by Michael Clarke Duncan and John Larroquette</a>:</p>

	<p><object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://widgets.nbc.com/o/4727a250e66f9723/4891da05d1b94d99/4741e3c5156499a7/1b6536d3" id="W4727a250e66f97234891da05d1b94d99" height="283" width="384"><param value="http://widgets.nbc.com/o/4727a250e66f9723/4891da05d1b94d99/4741e3c5156499a7/1b6536d3" name="movie"/><param value="transparent" name="wmode"/><param value="all" name="allowNetworking"/><param value="always" name="allowScriptAccess"/></object></p>

<p>Nothing really new from either actor; Duncan seems to be playing a heavy not unlike his role from "The Whole Nine Yards" and Larroquette's deadpan, dry wit has been celebrated since he first played Dan Fielding on "Night Court." But I like what I've seen so far with regard to their contributions to "Chuck." This trailer also promises a "new mission, new danger, new action, new enemies, and new&#8230; underwear." Part of me wants to protest the shameless shot of Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) getting dressed with the door wide open, but most of me is asking why in my right mind I would do such a thing.</p>

<p>The <a href="http://www.hulu.com/watch/26859/chuck-not-shaken" target="_blank">other trailer</a> isn't trying so hard, resorting to a single shot of Chuck struggling to descend from a ceiling, spy-style. Its slogan, however, is trying waaaay too hard in its attempt to play off the James Bond specs for a martini:</p>

	<p><object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://widgets.nbc.com/o/4727a250e66f9723/4891dbdeeaafdf0c/4741e3c5156499a7/6b3cc294" id="W4727a250e66f97234891dbdeeaafdf0c" height="283" width="384"><param value="http://widgets.nbc.com/o/4727a250e66f9723/4891dbdeeaafdf0c/4741e3c5156499a7/6b3cc294" name="movie"/><param value="transparent" name="wmode"/><param value="all" name="allowNetworking"/><param value="always" name="allowScriptAccess"/></object></p>

<p>Still, it's "Chuck" stuff! So I'm still OK with it.</p>

<p>A second reason to get excited for the second season are some photos of the cast doing things. And a third reason? Remote Access' access to a picture from the upcoming episode "Chuck vs. The Cougars." Oh, double meaning, how I love thee. Check out all those pix after the break. <a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/2008/07/30/chuck-season-20-trailers-tout-new-mission-new-danger-new-underwear/#more-6342" class="more-link">(more&#8230;)</a></p>

<p>Recently, however, the runner has stumbled. Earlier this year, he recast PBS' "A Room With A View"  as a tragic romance &#8212; which added a certain poignant urgency, if nothing else, to E.M. Forster's tale of a young woman who must choose between true love and a safe life. With the misconceived new version of Evelyn Waugh's "Brideshead Revisited," however, he's totally missed the point. <a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/2008/07/29/brideshead-reinterpreted/#more-6337" class="more-link">(more&#8230;)</a></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>I've been a little lax in reporting the latest news about "Pushing Daisies," my favorite new series of last season.</p>

	<p><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/07/daisies.jpg" title="daisies.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/07/daisies.jpg" alt="daisies.jpg" height="299" width="398" /></a></p>

<p>The oddball dramedy doesn't return for its sophomore year until Oct. 1, but the show got a rousing reception from fans at its recent <a href="http://www.thepiemaker.com/pushing-daisies-comic-con-panel-recap/#more-840" title="thepiemaker.com" target="_blank">Comic-Con panel</a>.</p>

<p>(It also got Emmy love this month, too, in the form of 12 nominations, including nods for stars Lee Pace and Kristen Chenowith.)</p>

<p>The Comic-Con panel revealed that we'll be seeing some new folks popping up in upcoming episodes &#8211; most notably, David Arquette (seen below with wife Courteney Cox) as Ned's new best friend.</p>

<p><div style="text-align:center;"><span id="pa_46100"><a id="pa_46100" href="http://www.picapp.com/PublicSite/ViewDetails.aspx?ImageId=659082"><img src="http://www.picapp.com/ftp/Preview/0046/david_arquette_Picapp_46100.jpg" alt=""A Time For Heroes" Celebrity Carnival - Arrivals" oncontextmenu="return false;"></a><br/><font size="<del>2"></font></span><script type="text/javascript" src="http://pis.picapp.com/IamProd/javascript/imageV2.js?p=5531&#038;i=46100&#038;w=234&#038;h=159&#038;adH=25&#038;adS=3&#038;fv=picviewerv2_1.swf&#038;pv=http://pis.picapp.com/IamProd/FlashSite/en/&#038;u=http://pis.picapp.com/IamProd/ImageServing.aspx&#038;sp=true&#038;n=2"></script></div>Given Arquette's kooky off-screen personality, this seems like perfect casting. Or maybe his pal, Paul "Pee Wee Herman" Reubens </del>- who was a big hit as olfactory expert Oscar Vibenius last season&#8212;put in a good word with the "Daisies" producers.</p>

<p>Either way, David's proving to be a good fit: E!'s TV diva, <a href="http://www.eonline.com/gossip/kristin/detail/index.jsp?uuid=f3f204ed-7526-4de6-8d2c-70993349df5c" title="E!" target="_blank">Kristin</a>, says the series is already working on having him back as a recurring character.</p>

<p>In other casting news, Broadway's Debra Mooney will play Emerson Cod's mom. (For those who aren't familiar with Debra, here's the interesting twist with that one: Debra's white, and as we all know, Emerson&#8212;played by the fabulously wry Chi McBride&#8212;is black.)</p>

<p><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/07/110305_d_1147_pre.jpg" title="110305_d_1147_pre.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/07/110305_d_1147_pre.jpg" alt="110305_d_1147_pre.jpg" align="left" height="236" width="179" /></a>As for future settings in our wonderfully colorful fantasy land, look out for a nunnery, which opens its doors to Olive.</p>

<p>That gives the incredibly talented Chenoweth yet another musical interlude: She belts out a&#8212;you guessed it&#8212;"Sound of Music"-style number.</p>

<p>Oh yeah, and she gets a new friend, too: A pig named Pigby.</p>

<p>Want more? Go to the excellent fan site, <a href="http://www.thepiemaker.com/" title="thepiemaker.com" target="_blank">ThePiemaker.com</a>, for a full Comic-Con recap and other spoilerific delights.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>Mmm&#8230; poll-icious.</p>

<p>Matt Groening's ongoing animated saga pulled nearly 1 vote in 3 tallied, while nearly 1 in 5 picked Jean-Luc Picard and Co.</p>

<p>Placing third was "Frasier," a "Cheers" spin-off. Finishing fourth was "Angel," a "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" follow-up.</p>

<p>I'll spare you the rest of the details, which you may examine after the break. Remote Access is not responsible for reader-submitted non-spinoffs or their votes, so don't waste your fingertips.</p>

<p>Our next poll is a simple one that should yield some pretty intense responses. <em>For the 2008-09 TV season, which network has the best original programming?</em></p>

<p>We're starting with the national networks (NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, The CW and myNetworkTV), a couple of subscriber-based nets (HBO and Showtime) and an edu-ma-cational destination (PBS), but as usual, you are more than welcome to submit your own suggestions.</p>

<p>Answers should apply to programs that are either on the air or are being produced <em>right now</em>. Why that specification? Well, with "The Wire," "Deadwood," "Rome" and "The Sopranos" no longer broadcasting new episodes on HBO, that makes a huge difference for my vote.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>That's right, sports fans, the swinging-sex series has relocated to Friday nights at 10. I found this out on Friday, when I went to watch the episode that was scheduled to air the night before, and right before it was suppose to start, an announcer said to watch for it on its new day, Friday. At any rate, I missed the episode when it aired. (This means, however, that I can watch "Puzzlerama" here at work and not get chastised for it. It is, after all, part of my job!)<br />
<img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/07/swingus-interruptus.jpg" alt="swingus-interruptus.jpg" align="right" height="220" width="290" />Of course, we'll never know the real reason why "Swingtown" was moved to what's known as "doom night" because it's the least watched night of the week. Maybe it wasn't performing in the ratings as well as CBS hoped it would. Or, maybe, now that it's already gained an audience, the Tiffany net is moving it to showcase other series. Or, maybe it's just temporary. Whatever the case, watch for "Swingus Interruptus" this Friday at 10 p.m.  (Photo courtesy of CBS.)</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>Just when I thought I'd buried my "Lost" obsession (at least until February, when Season 5 kicks in), a little July event called Comic-Con has to happen.</p>

<p>The show's producers, Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof (a.k.a. Darlton), have been breaking radio silence at the convention for a few years now. And while they didn't deliver any earth-shattering island news, there were some definite points of interest.</p>

	<p><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/07/413jackcoffinlocke.jpg" title="413jackcoffinlocke.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/07/413jackcoffinlocke.jpg" alt="413jackcoffinlocke.jpg" height="292" width="197" /></a><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/07/412jin.jpg" title="412jin.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/07/412jin.jpg" alt="412jin.jpg" height="294" width="200" /></a></p>

<p>Mainly, that we haven't seen the last of Locke or Jin!</p>

<p>We last saw Locke in the coffin during the finale's last moments, and we haven't learned the fate of Jin on the exploding freighter. But dead or not, don't worry: Terry O'Quinn and Daniel Dae Kim aren't unemployed.</p>

<p><a href="http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TVGuide-News-Blog/Todays-News/Lost-Preview-Damon/800043936" title="TV guide" target="_blank">Darlton confirmed</a> that the two will be back in some capacity, and that death is a "relative term" on the show.</p>

<p>Same goes for Rousseau, who bit the bullet last season with Karl. We'll be getting more info on her&#8212;FINALLY!&#8212;though the producers said it won't necessarily be in a flashback.</p>

	<p>In fact, speaking of flashbacks, that's SOOO Season 4. We're done with those&#8212;and flash-forwards, too.</p>

	<p><a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/07/413timemachinebunny-copy.jpg" title="413timemachinebunny-copy.jpg"><img src="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/files/2008/07/413timemachinebunny-copy.jpg" alt="413timemachinebunny-copy.jpg" /></a></p>

<p>The show will be time-hopping like Bunny  No. 15 on and off the island, and you're not going to know <a href="http://www.eonline.com/gossip/kristin/detail/index.jsp?uuid=62641b98-33f0-4e03-86b6-be695fc7acec" title="E!" target="_blank">where or WHEN you are</a>. (The guy who makes the whooshing sound effect gets to keep his job, too&#8212;YAY!)</p>

<p>And who else will we be seeing more of?</p>

 <a href="http://remote.lohudblogs.com/2008/07/28/lost-at-comic-con-death-is-a-relative-term/#more-6316" class="more-link">(more&#8230;)</a>
